Many of you asked how to do this, but it's really easy. I could do it blind folded tbh.

Superimpose

i. Open a plain white image as the background and then your PNG as the foreground. Mess with the filters if you'd like (I made mine black and white) and then merge.

ii. Open the smoke image attached below and turn the contrast all of the way up under the filter tab. Then, go to transform and select screen.

iii. Move smoke image around on the person where you'd like it and then save it. You might have to add another white image over the bottom of the person.

iv. To get a colored background on the image, just open up your colored background of choice and then the image you just saved as the foreground. You'll either have to mask around the person to get rid of the white, or you can set it on an overlay mode that looks best to you. **dark colored backgrounds won't work very well**

v. Open in Phonto and add your title and everything else! I used Code Bold above (:

Pics Art

i. Open a plain white image in the app. Go to Add Photo and add your PNG of your person on top of the white image. Press the checkmark.

ii. Select add photo again and open the smoke image above. Go to the drop down menu and select Screen.

iii. Now since you can't turn the contrast up on Pics Art, you'll have to make sure you place the smoke image in a good spot so it looks "smokey". See images below.

(the circle shows that you can still see where the bottom of the person is; you don't want that)

iv. When you're done with that, save the image and then you're done. Add your title and everything in Phonto!

Hope you guys like this! You can literally do the same process for any image to get a special effect like this. Experiment around with it (:
