The Band (lauren/you)

-Sixteen-

After the half an hour drive, the five arrived at the studio.

The lady at the desk nodded at them and let them in after checking their schedule.

Squeezing into the elevator, Jasper moved closer to y/n and asked her.

"How are things between you and Lauren??"

"Everything's fine. I just can't wait to get to know her more,"

"I can't wait to see you guys together," Jasper said.

"Me too," y/n said looking down.

Everyone got out of the elevator then headed to the studio.

"Ah! You guys finally arrived. Now, let's record some songs," Jim said to them.

The five cheered and Jim asked them what song they want to add to the album.

Y/n raised her hand and said, "I wrote a song a couple days ago. I want to add it to the album."

"Really!!?? What's the title??" James asked excitedly.

"Everything has changed," y/n said.

"Can you like, sing it to us??" Jim said.

"Yeah, I'll just grab a guitar," y/n said.

She grabbed an acoustic guitar and sat down at the couch.

"It goes like this," y/n said then started strumming.

"Yo, laur!! What's got you smiling so big??" Dinah asked.

"It's that Brad guy!!" Normani screamed.

Lauren looked away from her phone and blushed really hard while looking down.

"Guys!! Leave Lolo alone, let her text British Boy," Camila said while trying to read her book.

Lauren blushed harder and looked out the window, looking at the cars that's passing by.

"I hate traffic," Normani said.

'Thank you mani, for changing the subject,' Lauren said to herself.

Her phone vibrated beside her and she picked it up seeing Brad texted her.

Brad: Can I visit you on Friday?? I want to meet the others properly.

Lauren: Yeah, but there's like, ten of us in the mansion.

Brad: Really?? Who's the other five?

Lauren: Secret Serenade.

Brad: Really!!?? I love them!!

Lauren: That's good!! I'm sure you guys will get along very well, especially y/n.

Brad: I can't wait to meet them!!

Lauren: Well I'm excited, just text me. Okay??

Brad: Okay. Oh and, can I take you out on Saturday??

Lauren: I'll think about it :).

Lauren smiled and turned her phone off then decided to sleep.

"Hey, Lauren. Wake up, we're here," Ally said shaking Lauren lightly.

Lauren sat up and got out of the van.

"What time do you guys think the others will be back??" Camila asked.

"Why? Excited to see Jasper??" Normani said wiggling her eyebrows at Camila.

"W-what?? N-no!! I'm j-just asking," Camila said while looking down.

Normani and Dinah laughed at her while Lauren came to the rescue.

"Dont tease her. Camila liking Jasper just means she's moving on from that dorito boy," Lauren said.

"Yeah!! And Jasper's waaaaayyyy better than Mahone," Ally said behind them.

The five started laughing and walked to the mansion.

"Yo, mama A!!! Can you cook something for us tonight??" Dinah asked.

"Yeah, what do you guys want??"

"I want mac and cheese!!" Camila said.

"I want some sushi," Lauren said.

"Me too," Normani said while pouting.

"Let's just order food. How about you Dinah?? What do you want??"

"I want some Kian," Dinah mumbled.

"WHAT!!???" Camila screamed.

"NOTHING!!"

"YOU WANT SOME---" Camila screamed but Dinah covered her mouth.

"YOU AIN'T SAYING SHIIII!!"

"I heard what you said," Normani said.

"MANI!!"

"WHAT DO YOU WANT DINAH!!???" Ally screamed.

"SHE WANT SOME KIAN SMITH!!" Lauren screamed then, started running.

"LAUREN!!!" Dinah screamed and started chasing Lauren, while the others are laughing at the two.

Everything has changed.

"And that's a wrap!!! You guys did amazing, especially you y/n. We're gonna be releasing this song next month," Jim said to them.

The five thanked him then exited the room.

"I'm really excited to release the songs, dude!!!!" Kian said.

"Me too!! Especially, the one y/n wrote. I really like that song," Jasper said.

Cedric saw y/n walking slowly with her head down,  so he decided to ask her what's wrong.

"Nothing. I'm just really tired and a little bit cold," y/n said hugging herself.

"What?? Are you sure you're okay??" Cedric asked, y/n nodded and smiled at him.

Cedric checked her temperature and immediately called for everyone.

"What??" James asked.

"Y/n has a fever," Cedric said hugging y/n.

They rushed y/n out the building then headed to their van.

'That's just great. I hate being sick,' y/n said plopping down.
