"Rise and shine, Liv!" Jack yells, jumping down from his bunk.

"Do you always have to yell when you wake me up?" I groan.

"Well, it annoys you, so yes!"

I glare at my brother. "I hate you."

"I love you too. Anyways, are you selling alone again today?"

"Yep."

"You know, I'm sure Race would-"

"I'm not going back to the tracks," I interrupt.

"Why?"

"Because," I stand up. "You said I can sell on my own and I'm going to."

"Liv, it's dangerous."

"Life's dangerous, Jack! But, you can't hide from it."

"Is that a fancy way of telling me 'no, now get out of my space?'"

"Yes," I smirk. "Now get out of my space."

"You know Liv," Race says as we are walking to the distribution center. "You can still call off you meeting with...you know."

"And you can still quit smoking, but that isn't going to happen," I reply.

"Ok, just because you want to be all risky and see you know who, does not mean you can insult me."

"I'm sorry. It's just," I sigh. "Jack told me this morning that he thinks it's dangerous for me to sell alone."

"He thinks it's dangerous if you walk five feet from him."

"I know! Ugh, he can be annoying sometimes."

"You can be to at times," Race smirks.

I roll my eyes. "Thanks Race."

"Well," Race says once we get to the gates. "Doesn't look like they are here yet."

"What else is new?" Jack replies, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

"More than you know," I think.

"Calm down cowboy. We're here," Morris grumbles as he pushes past us. I take a glance up at Oscar, who smiles and winks at me, before he follows his brother.

"Tell me Oscar," Jack says. "Will you ever be on time?"

"That depends Jacky boy."

"Yeah? On what?"

"How much you annoy me. The more you annoy me, the later I am." Oscar smirks before pushing open the gate.

Jack narrows his eyes at the other boy. "I hate him."

"I know, Jack," I reply.

Jack smiles. "I'm just glad you have higher standards." He ruffles hair before walking in.

"Yep. Whatever you say," I mumble, following him.

"Fifty papes," Jack says, slamming his coins down.

"Your sister never took up my offer from the yesterday, Jacky," Morris says as he counts the money.

"Yeah. That's because she's smart. She knows better than to hang around the likes of you."

I look over Oscar and I can tell he's holding back a laugh. "Jack just stop."

"What's that suppose to mean Kelly?!" Morris yells.

"It means your a-"

"Ok!" I cut Jack off. "It means he would like his papes, please."

"Aren't you polite today?" Morris laughs.
