"Sherlock give me the laptop!" you barked. You lunged for it, but he raised it over his head, far out of your reach. "Not fair," you grunted.

"Nothing is fair," he corrected, still holding the laptop above his head. You stayed still for a moment, then you jumped up once more to try and grab it. You failed. "I think you have forgotten that I can read what moves a person is about to make. Your crouched figure and diverted eyes gave away your position in a matter of seconds. Please, do try and challenge me." You gave your best eye roll, which was pretty good considering you were a teenage girl, and bounded down the stairs to the basement. There Mycroft sat reading a book and looking as boring as ever.

"Hello Mycroft," you greeted, trying to be nice.

"What troubles will you and my brother be getting into tonight?" he asked, not even looking up from his book.

"Oh you know the usual... breaking into Buckingham Palace, kidnapping the queen, stealing the Crown Jewels," you replied sarcastically.

"That's not something you joke about (y/n), especially not with a man at my position in government."

"Aren't you just an assistant?" you asked, snorting lightly. His upturned nose went down slightly, and you nodded triumphantly. Mycroft had just finished another year of schooling and felt himself far more superior than a couple of 16 year olds like you and Sherlock. Seconds later Sherlock came down the stairs and jumped on the couch, lifting the lid of his laptop.

"Did you bring it?" he asked. You reached into your bag and pulled out the game, a big smile on your face. "I can't believe I let you convince me to play such a petty game," he snarled, inserting it into the laptop.

"Sherlock," you stated in a dead serious tone, "this is no petty game. This is the best game, the scariest game, it's thee game."

"What are you two bickering on about?" nosed in Mycroft.

"Five Nights at Freddy's, what else?" you said with a "duh" attitude. Mycroft mimicked you and went back to his book.

"This better be worth it," groaned Sherlock. You smirked at him as he waited for the game to load. You noticed his shaggy hair needed a haircut, it was beginning to get in the way of his eyes, his beautiful blue eyes. "Stop looking at me," ordered Sherlock. Your face reddened, nervous that somehow he had been reading your mind. And you couldn't have that happening. God forbid Sherlock Holmes find out you have a teensy tiny crush on him - his head would inflate even more. Not to mention you had known him since you were in diapers, when you used to bathe together and he would pour his food on his head and put his mum's makeup on. You two had seen too much of each other to ever let it get past "best friends". The game screen popped up and he pressed play. The screen turned black for a couple seconds and you braced yourself for what was next. Suddenly an animatronic character popped up and screamed a blood curdling scream. Sherlock jumped momentarily but kept his mouth sealed. "That was alarming," he commented.

"Oh it gets better," you smiled evilly. The game began, the voice of the characters' voicemail coming on to alert the player that the animatronic animals were able to roam free through the night.

"So I just have to protect myself from these silly animals?" asked Sherlock, chuckling lightly at the "simplicity" of the game. "I thought you said it was scary (y/n)?" Your stomach flipped when he said your name.

"Just wait," you replied gruffly, grabbing his cheeks and pushing his face back to the computer. You watched him check the security cameras and struggle when he lost all power.

"This game is quite... unsettling," he muttered. He was huffing and puffing and you laughed at how frustrated he was. The game screen then displayed the words "GAME OVER" and Freddy's face jumped on the screen. Sherlock let out a little yelp, and you couldn't hold in your laugh. He closed the laptop and set it on the far edge of the table next to him, his face slightly plagued with a pink blush. "Let's do something else, perhaps play a board game or watch a light hearted movie," suggested Sherlock. His voice was abnormally high when he talked. He hurriedly exited the room, and you and Mycroft smirked triumphantly at each other as you walked out. Even though you two disagreed 99% of the time, you did agree on one thing: how fun it was to scare Sherlock.

A/N

*patiently waits for someone to comment that they thought (y/n) was grabbing Sherlock's butt cheeks instead of his face cheeks*

This was just a quick update that I've been working on all week!

I felt bad since I seemed to have destroyed all your guys' feelings and ripped out all your hearts so I tried to write a lighter one... Although I can't help but be proud about how I made you guys feel (woops, sorry not sorry).

I promise the next one I write will be a cute fluffy one... No dying.

Well, I'm off to school.
Good day.
