*Danielle's POV*

I was getting shook awake by strong hands but my eyes refused to open to see who the hands belonged to.

"Come on Sunshine, we ain't got all day." A gruff voice told me.

I forced my eyes open and they met Daryl's blue ones.

"What time is it?" I asked in my sleep thickened voice.

"If yer watch is right, just after 6 in the morning." He replied.

I nodded and sat up rubbing my eyes.

"Hand me my jeans please." I told Daryl stretching out.

He bent down and handed them to me. I quickly pulled them on and buttoned them up. I pulled my boots on and pulled my hair back and up into a high bun so it wouldn't get in the way if and when I had to use my bow. I couldn't help but to see Daryl staring at my exposed neck like a hungry walker. I blushed but didn't say anything.

"Ready?" He asked.

"Yeah after you Daryl." I smirked.

He unzipped the flap and with his crossbow slung over his shoulder crawled out of his tent. I picked up my own bow and followed him into the woods just as the sun was coming up.

********

We had spent all day walking through the enormous woods that Hershel's farm backed up to. We still hadn't caught anything and it was getting darker by the second.

"Hey babe, I think we might should head back." I told him.

"We ain't gonna make it back in time. Let's just keep walking and see if we can't find ourselves a cabin or house for the night."

I keep following Daryl hoping for any kind of structure and I finally spotted one.

"Oh thank god." I sighed.

"Don't ya get excited just yet. We don't know what it's like on the inside." Daryl told me.

I stuck my tongue out at him but he didn't see me as we walked towards it. As we approached the door the small cabin Daryl pulled his knife out making me do the same.

"Check the windows." Daryl told me.

I went around to the side and cleaned the dirt from one of the windowpanes before looking in. It looked untouched, it just had a small sofa and a bed in its one room.

"It's clear." I said walking back over to Daryl.

He twisted the handle and it was unlocked surprisingly. I smiled to myself as we walked in.

"What got ya all smiley?" Daryl asked.

"Well for one thing, we're alone." I told him.

"Yeah we are." Daryl replied closing the door behind me and locking it.

I half expected him to push me up against the door since he was the one that suggested the hunt so we could have some alone time but I guess my hint was too subtle. Daryl went over and laid down on the couch while I went and laid down on the bed. I figured I would have to be a little more obvious with him if I wanted anything. From the bed I started looking around but not seeing a whole lot. This must of just been a hunting cabin judging by the lanterns scattered about.
