*Danielle's POV*

"Danielle, wake up babygirl." I heard Daryl whisper.

I opened my eyes and blinked a little.

"What? Is something wrong?" I asked him.

"No, I'm just gonna go hunt and I didn't wanna leave unless I knew ya were awake." He replied.

"Okay, be careful." I told him with a kiss.

He picked up his crossbow and walked off into the woods. I got my knife out of its' holster and sat with a firm grip on it. I don't know how long I sat but it didn't matter, I was enjoying the sounds of the woods until a walker interrupted that. I was about to get up and take care of it when one of the men from Joe's group got it.

"Hey Marian, where's Robin Hood?" One of Joe's group asked me.

"He went on a hunt for some breakfast." I replied.

"And left you all alone?" A different man asked.

"I am more that capable of taking care of myself." I told him through gritted teeth tightening my grip on my knife even more.

The other bow guy grabbed his bow and went out into the woods himself, Joe followed a few minutes after.

"Hey Jonny, time to pick up your bed and walk with it." I said tossing an acorn at his head.

"Fuck, ow sis. That hurt." Jonny said sitting up and rubbing his head.

"Oh bullshit. I thought Marines were tougher than that." I laughed.

Daryl, Joe and the other archer, who I had finally remembered was named Len came walked back a few minutes later. Daryl had one half of a rabbit and Len had the other.

"Do I even want to know?" I asked Daryl when he sat down.

"Nope." He shook his head.

I picked up my bow and started to look at my arrows. The tips looked a little dull so I started sharpening them.

"Nice technique you got there." Len said once he noticed what I was doing.

"Thanks I guess." I replied.

"She's mine. Back off or I'll kill ya." Daryl growled at him.

"You haven't claimed her, so that makes her fair game." Len told him.

"Claimed? Fair game? We're fucking married dipshit in case you missed the glaringly obvious rings on my finger." I told Len shoving my left hand in his face.

"Can't get more claimed than that Len." Joe told him.

He turned to look at Beth and Jonny stepped up, "She's claimed too so keep your eyes off of her or you won't have any."

We picked up and started walking again soon after that.

"We need to go our own way. I don't get a good feeling from Joe and his men." I told Daryl.

"I know babygirl, I don't either. We'll find a place to go on our own; me, you, Jon and Beth." Daryl replied before he walked up to talk to Joe.

"We'll be okay sis. I promise." Jonny smiled as he nudged me.

We walked a bit more until Joe whistled and said, "Right there. It's our abode for the evening."

Joe group went up and got the door to the building open first and went in. Joe followed them and we went in last. It looked like a garage and I was saddened by the old cars sitting abandoned. After a chorus of 'claimed' by Joe's group, me, Daryl, Jonny and Beth were left with the floor.
