CHAPTER ELEVEN

Adrian woke up the following day believing that all the lovey-dovey crap was over when it had actually just started. The Valentine's Day dance was tonight and as if it wasn't bad enough that every Salvatore student was going to be there, the kids from the local high school were also planning on attending.

While Hope was his first choice and the only reason to even go to that party, the Aquilo boy decided to go anyways because where there was a party with Penelope and Owen in attendance, there was definitely going to be alcohol.

True to his words to Hope, the male had searched the school for Lizzie Saltzman but found her nowhere, that was until he got ahold of her sister in the hallway and this was where he was now— sitting at the end of the hallway outside the twins' room, speaking to Josie who wouldn't let him see her sister until he apologized.

Adrian sighed, "I don't see why I'm here, apologizing to Lizzie when she can't even hear me"

Josie pressed her lips together, "I'll pass your apology on after you tell me why you're apologizing"

The male took a deep breath, "Well, I've been a dick to her and even if she was verbally bullying Hope, she didn't deserve what I did"

The brunette girl furrowed her brows, growing agitated, "You threw a drink at her"

Adrian nodded, "I know. And I'm sorry about that, I really am but believe it or not, I actually like your sister"

"Oh?" Josie cocked a brow, "Is that why you've been rubbing your relationships with Hope and Penelope in our faces?"

"What relationships?" The boy's neutral expression turned into an agitated one once he realized what the girl meant, "Look, Josie, if you're jealous because Owen and I are hanging out with Penn then that's your issue but I came here to talk to Lizzie"

At the mention of her name, Elizabeth Saltzman emerged from her bedroom and into view of the two brunettes. The boy looked up and found the blonde standing in the hall, grimacing in embarrassment, "I was totally not eavesdropping"

Adrian nodded as he rose from his seat, "You got a sec?"

"I have a lot of secs" Lizzie answered. A heated blush soon rose up, stinging her cheeks at the realization of what she said. The male bit his lower lip to restrain himself from laughing at the double entendres, on Lizzie's behalf, "I mean, time. I have time"

The wolf took a deep breath before he began speaking, "Good. I need to talk to you"

The blonde twin nodded and stepped aside, motioning for the boy to enter her dorm so they could speak undisturbed. Josie rose from her seat, a baffled expression on her face when she saw that her sister just let the boy in, "But Lizzie—"

"Not now" The taller twin cut her sister off.

"But he's just gonna—"

Lizzie faced her sister, her hand on the door handle, "I said not now, Josette"
