My eyes cracked open, groggily looking around before squeezing shut tightly once again as Shea opened the curtains, the sunlight flooding into the room and blinding me. I had a thumping headache and a thin layer of sweat on my forehead, "Get up, you've got a lesson today."

I groaned, my face stuffing into my pillow, refusing to get up, "Nooooo!" I say, squirming as she tried to get me up. 

I look around, my eyes adjusting to the light. Shea shoved a bottle of water and two pills toward me, "Take these, it'll help you," She says before scurrying off, "Oh by the way, your lessons in one hour." I glare at her, taking the pills and skulling down the bottle of water.

I can't believe I got drunk last night, agh. I looked at the room I was in, Shea must've said for her room mate to go stay in my bed. I slowly got up, gathering a towel before going to go have a shower.

One I had cleaned up, blow dried my hair and applied some mascara and lipgloss I looked over my outfit.

I had on the schools black and white top along with my white breeches. I found my helmet and slipped on my black riding boots before rushing down to the stables. 

After several minutes of trying to find Cai I finally found him and tacked him up, once I finished tacking him up I started to lead him toward the arena tiredly, slouching over.

"How're you?" a voice interrupts and I looked over to see Shane and I smile slightly, "I'm good.. just really hungover." I watch as he nods, wrapping an arm around my shoulder and side hugging me, which I return, Cai tugging at the reins in protest.

"Jax said you looked like shit." pfft, of course he'd say that. He's such a douche bag, seriously. I huff, "He's such a douchebag, I cannot even compreh-" before I can finish my sentence I groan, my headache was starting to die down but not by much.

"eh."

Once we reached the arena we gave a wave, there wasn't many people at the lesson today and Shea was on the side lines watching, as she refused to ride anyone but General.

Mr.Lee waved and Shane gave me a leg up into the saddle and I smiled a thank you before starting to warm up.

I saw Jax pull up next to me out the corner of my eye, "Hey, can we talk after the lesson?" I ignore him and he groans, "Sage." I continue to ignore him, rolling my eyes. He doesn't know when to take a hint, I feel a hand grab my arm and I rip it away from him, making Cai freak out a bit before calming down, "What?" I snap.

I watch as a smirk spreads across his perfectly carved face, agh that's what he wanted. 

"Can I talk to you after the lesson?" he says and I groan, "Fine, whatever." I cave into what he wants before kicking Cai's sides cuing him into a trot. He takes a bit to respond to my cue but he eventually goes into a trot.

One we finished warming up everyone came into the centre.

I looked at the order, first was Ashley and her horse Monte Carlo, then Shane, Angie, Jax then me. I was beginning to wonder where everyone was today, we usually had some more in our lesson, like May.

"Today we're having a bareback lesson so go untack your horses."

[ after the lesson. ]

When everyone left I had stayed back for a bit, working with Cai with the permission from Mr. Lee.

He was beginning to get really good, but I still needed to ask if I could take Cai to the nearby racecourse to let him have a run.

I picked out Cai's hooves before giving him a quick brush down, I then put Cai into his stall, closing the door and kissing his nose softly. I look at the time, the clock read 8:49. I hadn't even had dinner yet. I groaned, walking over to my tack, lifting it into my arms and hanging my bridle over my shoulder gingerly. 

I began to lug my tack to the tack room, opening the door and walking in. I found my saddle peg, putting my purple saddle pad and black saddle onto the peg, humming to myself. I made my way over to the hooks, hanging my bridle up onto my assigned hook, I hung it over my hackamore, before heading over to look at the work schedules that had been assigned. 

I place a hand on the wall, balancing myself as I read over the schedule, trying to find my name.

Before I could find it a hand grabbed my arm and I went to go mma on their ass before they spoke, "Hey, it's just me." it was Jax, although, I still wanted to kick him in the balls but I figured I better not.

"I don't want to talk with you," I say reluctantly, my blood boiling down, "You're such a douche I cannot even comprehend how much I hate you right now, why the fuck did you make out with her when we had something? huh? Do you know how much it hurts to have your heart ripped from your chest and thrown to the curb-" before I could continue my rant I was pushed up against the wall, a gasp escaping my lips.

"Just shut up, alright?" he says, "No I re-" before I could protest his lips clashed with mine, his hands travelling up and down my sides before he hauled me up  so my legs were wrapped around his waist. I kissed him back reluctantly, my fingers entangling with his hair. The kiss was very heated, but passionate and I liked it, a lot. As he deepend the kiss the image of him making out with Angie in this exact spot popped up into my mind making me rage. 

I push him back, my hand curling up into a fist and thrashing against his chest, "What the fuck Jax!" I say, my vocals raising, the anger clear in my voice. He looked stunned for a minute, his eyes going glassy, "I- I'm so, so s-so-" before He could finish his apology I quickly push him off me, stumbling as I landed on my feet but quickly catching my balance. 

I stormed from the tack room, "Agh! Sage, wait!" He yells down the stable isle, making me glare back at him, "Just leave me alone." I say, my vocals cracking as tears welled in my eyes, threatening to spill. I then turned once again, walking off. 

What just happened?
