I found myself waking up in a cold sweat, tears staining my cheeks. I looked over to see Jax staring at me wide eyed, while Shane continued to snore beside me. I gulped, leaving the bed as subtly as possible.

Jax walked over, slinging an arm over my shoulder and taking me out the room. I didn't reject his help, as I needed a shoulder to cry on.

Once we had left the room he stops, standing in front of me, his green eyes gazing down at me as he lifts my chin up so we can make eye contact. I feel my chest constrict, my breath hitching in my throat as he placing a hand on my waist, "What's wrong?" he asks in a soft tone, his eyes filled with worry.

"n-nothing." I manage to get out, a slight stutter accompanying my words. He shakes his head, pulling me closer, "I know it's not nothing, tell me Sage," he pauses, leaning in closer, "you can trust me, I promise."

Though his words angered me, I needed to vent to someone and he was my only option, "I- I thought I was past this stage. The nightmares, the tingling sensation and feeling like I can't move like I'm paralyzed... The blurry vision of my horse laying on the ground beside me and her desperate cries for help, if only I paid attention and didn't force her over the jump," before I can finish I break down, tears rushing down my cheeks like waterfalls.

Jax pulled me into his chest and I began to sob into his chest, soaking his t-shirt with my salty tears, "shhh, it's okay," he coos, his fingers running through my strawberry blonde locks.

I was so confused, I was beginning to not know how I wanted; who I needed.

"I- I," I continued to sob before Jax pulled away, then leaning down and placing his lips against mine. I stood there, shocked and not moving because of his actions.

Once he pulled away I looked up at him, my hazel and blue eyes gazing at him, shocked, "W-why'd y-you do t-that?" I say, dumbfounded and shocked. He brushes a thumb over my cheek, clearing my tears, "I had to do something to shut you up, you talk a lot you know." he adds a small chuckle onto his words, playing with my hair gently.

I stifle a laugh at his words. He always seemed to make me happy but he also pissed me off; a lot. But Shane was always so nice, he never annoyed me.

"You better go get ready for your date with Shane," he adds, smiling sadly which made my heart pang a little, "it's ten am, he said you were leaving at eleven." he says before brushing past me, leaving me slightly stunned as he goes back to his room.

I then go to my dorm room, trying to put the pieces together in my mind.

Once I took a shower and blow dried my hair I had put on a bikini. It was simple - a black bikini with a halter top. I then slipped on some shorts and slipped on my vans, grabbing a towel, sunglasses and slipping on a white hat. 

I walk out to see a few others dressed in swim suits and casual clothes, I figured they were going to the pool or beach. I walked down to Jax and Shane's dorm, knocking on the door. When no one answered I went to knock again, my fist missing the door as it flew open, making me stumble in clumsily falling into the arms of Jax.

"S-sorry." I stutter, I seemed to be doing that a lot around him lately. 

"Hey." Shane says, snatching me from Jax's arms and leaning down to peck my lips. That was a first.

I watch as Shane glances over to Jax, sending a glare at him. Was he jealous? I silently laugh, oh wow.

"Hi." I say shyly, "We're taking the horses by the way." he smiles and I look at him, jaw agape, "Really?"
