Chapter 10: The Beach

Wendy: You do keep your word lol
Jin: Of course I do, you know I wouldn't lie
Wendy: Truthful Jin is the best Jin 😂👌🏻
Jin: Mhm
Wendy: Hey, I have to go sleep. I'm getting sleepy. I'll text you another time. Bye!
Jin: Good night!

Jin
Wendy: I'm going to be busy today, since I'm going to the beach with everyone. You should come! Bring Eunji as well!
Jin: Okay I'll try to come with Eunji
Wendy: Alright, bye!

Author's POV
It's time for the beach. Everyone is getting ready. Wendy has been practicing swimming and she can do the basics, but everyone is still worried for her. Jackson warns Mark that she can't swim very well and that he needs to save her if she drowns. They're now on their way to the beach and they have everything: spray on sunscreen, water, money, bathing suits, towels, umbrellas, sunglasses, beach chairs, flip flops, a volleyball, a football, and their phones of course. They take a few selcas (selfies) in the car and jam out to Bang Bang Bang by Big Bang. They finally reached their destination and they ran to the volleyball net.
Mark: Shall we play volleyball first?
Jr: Let's do 2 on 2! I'm going to win, obviously.
Irene: I'll be on your team, Jr!
Wendy: I'll be on yours, Mark!
Mark: Jr, we'll see about that.
The other girls set up their own little beach house, laying the towels on the sand, setting up an umbrella to protect the from the sun, as well as a beach chair. They have already applied on sunscreen and wore their sunglasses. They decided to just sit down and relax and swim later. The other guys are just playing football. Let's get back to the intense volleyball match. Mark and Wendy are ahead by 2. It's a close game. Jr and Irene are good, but not Mark and Wendy good. Mark's spikes were unexpected and Wendy's serves dominated. They won! Wendy jumped on Mark's back and screamed with joy. Irene wasn't disappointed, though. She got to spend time with Jr and she learned a new fact about him. He's incredibly athletic. Not only did he do well in volleyball, he extremely amazing at football. Irene was so impressed she just had to cheer for him.
Irene: Go Jr!
Jackson: Hey look, you got yourself the cheerleader you've always wanted!
Jr blushed and Irene couldn't help but laugh. Suddenly, the football was going towards Irene and Jr ran to cover her. The football hit Jr's back.
Jr: GWAENCHANHA (ARE YOU OKAY)!?!
Irene: Ye (Yes).. Gomawo (Thanks)
Jr: Be careful, I don't know what I would've done if you got hurt.
He said, hugging her. Irene's face turned a very bright shade of red, but hugged him back.
After playing, they all decided to swim. This was the moment Wendy dreaded. Although she did practice, she was afraid of drowning. Mark remembered Jackson's warning and stayed by Wendy's side.
Mark: Hey, we don't have to swim if you don't want to.
Wendy: No no, I will!
Mark: You don't need to, we can do something else.
Wendy: It's fine.
Wendy walks into the water, Mark following her, and slowly starts swimming. She's doing well at first, but the water was too high for her, making her drown. Mark dives into the water and gets her out of the water. Luckily he did it in a matter of seconds or Wendy would've lost consciousness.
Mark: Hey, are you alright?
He said, very worried.
Wendy: Yeah I am, I should've listened. Mianhae (Sorry).
Mark: It's fine, don't worry. As long as you're safe, that's all that matters. Just don't do that to yourself, okay?
Wendy nods.
Mark: Instead, I will capture you on my back and take you to the beach chair. Peter Pan won't save you this time!
-evil laugh-
Wendy is surprised as she was on Mark's back, who is running all over the place. Nevertheless, she enjoyed his humor.
Meanwhile, JB, Jackson, and Seulgi are throwing water at each other. Not a fair game, considering JB and Jackson are both aiming the water at Seulgi. She doesn't care, though. She's not giving up either way. Bambam and Yeri seem to have a thing for tag because they're still playing that in the water and sand. Yugyeom is busting out his moves to Exo's Growl.

Joy: Nollaun (Amazing)! You're an amazing dancer, Yugyeomie~!
Yugyeom: Thank you!
Youngjae was the only one who didn't have a girl to talk to. All he could think about was Eunji. It was like Eunji read his mind because she promptly appeared.
Eunji: Annyeong, Youngjae! Did you miss me?
Youngjae runs up and hugs her.
Youngjae: Where have you been all this time?
Eunji: Mian (Sorry)! I'll try to come with you more often.
Jin walks up to Youngjae.
Jin: Hey can you watch Eunji for me? I'm going to go talk to Wendy.
Eunji: Aye, I'm not a little girl anymore!
Jin: But you are to me 😂
Eunji: Whatever, bye!
Jin saw Wendy playing with Mark, so he decided to say hi to one of her sisters.
Jin: Hi, Seulgi!
Seulgi: Annyeong, Oppa! What are you doing here?
Jin: Wendy told me to come. I brought Eunji here as well.
Seulgi: You should go out more, for yourself. Not because Wendy told you to!
Jin: I'd do whatever Wendy tells me to do.
Seulgi: It's your choice, I guess I can't really argue with that. Have fun, Jin!
Wendy finally saw Jin.
Wendy: Jin, hi!
Jin: How's the beach so far?
Wendy: It's really fun! We should all get some ice cream, it's really hot right now.
Jin: I'll go buy the ice cream!
Wendy: Gomawo (Thanks)!
Mark noticed Wendy was sweating.
Mark: Wendy, you look hot.
Everyone stares at Mark weirdly.
Wendy blushes.
Yeri: YOU THINK SHE'S HOT?!?
Mark: U-uh n-no!! I mean she is hot, but that's not what I meant. I meant like the hot as in she's sweaty and stuff. I'm not saying sweaty is gross because Wendy makes everything look perfect. Did I really say that? Okay what I'm trying to say is that she's sweating a lot...
Jr: Sure, you totally meant that 😏
Mark: I-I did!
Joy: We all know you think Wendy's hot!
Mark: W-Well, she is... BUT I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE THAT
Mark was so embarrassed, he ran away and kept hitting the volleyball. Wendy couldn't help but laugh uncontrollably. Wendy walks towards him and back hugs him, leaving Mark speechless.

Mark's POV
She's actually hugging me...
Wendy: It's okay, I think you're hot. Not hot as in sweaty, but as in exceedingly attractive. It doesn't stop there, you're so adorable. I want to squish your beautiful face all the time.
Don't smile, don't smile, don't smile!
SHE SMILED!
My heart is beating way too fast, my face is super red, and I'm really sweaty right now. I need some ice cream. Stat.
To my luck, Jin bought ice cream.

Author's POV
Jin bought everyone ice cream and they enjoyed the flavors. It was a hot day that ended with ice cream. A perfect way to end a wonderful day.
