The Marauders, unlike most of the male gender, were all about giving compliments. They told Frank he had good hair at least 4 times a week and were constantly throwing compliments to other Gryffindors in the common room. The use of Howlers on behalf of students was banned due to the fact that breakfast each morning would constantly be interrupted with showers of compliments, many of which went a little like "Oi! sixth year Ravenclaw with the black hair and biceps, yeah, you, you've got a great ass, much love from you're resident Gryffindor pranksters."
