Woah I totally just realised that I completely missed out James' birthday.
Forgive me, Rowling, for I have sinned.
James believed that March 23rd was the one day of the year he was obliged to do absolutely nothing and no one complained because they knew the rest of the year would be made hell for them if they did.
He honestly didn't care what happened on his birthday as long as no involuntary manual labour or work of any kind was expected of him.
