"This is Sakura reporting. There's only five minutes before confronting the main target. Prepare for battle! Be careful everyone!"

"Roger that. Yosuke-kun, stick to the plan, okay? We will be depending on your new ability. Got it?" Lancelot appealed.

"Yes sir!"

"Well then, SPEAR... PREPARE FOR BATTLE!"

Tension were slowly building inside of Yosuke Masuda. This was his debut as a member of SPEAR, and yet, his first target was already a former member of those so called Supremes of the kingdom. This meant that the person who was called Allen Ambrosia was probably at the same level as his blonde superior. The janitor boy kept on thinking about that matter until he realized that the five minutes time limit was already over.

The battle of the skies commenced!

Noticing his pursuers above him, Allen Ambrosia spotted three people in the sky riding in spears.

It was Lancelot Lancaster and SPEAR.

"!"

Allen was smiling, while gazing at the group of people behind him. He was somehow predicting what Lancelot Lancaster of the Golden Spear had planned to capture him. He then noticed that there were thin red aura on each of their arms and thin white aura wrapped on their spears.

Hmm... Pierce and Haste Support Ability...? So these guys are really serious to capture me, huh?

Judging from their formation, having Lancelot in front lines, Innes Uria in his back and Cornelia Penelope in their side, Allen had predicted that Lancelot would be the one who would charge to him while Cornelia would shoot either him or his winged beast.

Allen Ambrosia was also familiar with SPEAR's abilities. He knew that Cornelia Penelope was skilled in both whether it was long-ranged or short-ranged. But even if she also excelled in long-ranged combat, she still preferred fighting in close-ranged. It was the field she was specializing in as she could use her Gun Blade weapon to her advantage while fighting in close-ranged. But taking Lancelot in thought, it was a much more sense that Cornelia would support him by her long-ranged ability.

Allen Ambrosia also knew that SPEAR could be pursuing him in desperation, as the only way to track him down was by using the Satellite Scanning System. Considering the speed and area they were at, it would only take few minutes to reach the end range of the SSS.

That was why Allen thought of a plan that would be perfect to counter SPEAR's current formation.

The white-haired Cornelia attacked first, firing a barrage of mana bullets aimed at the black winged beast. Her precision was so perfect that the bullets accurately hit the wings of the crow beast as she sniped it using her digital scope in her Gun Blade.

However, she suddenly halted firing much to her surprise.

"!"

Before the bullets hit the beast, a much darker, liquid-like shadow enveloped the winged beast's feathered body. It easily deflected Cornelia's mana bullets that were augmented with Pierce Support Ability.

Lancelot Lancaster personally saw how Cornelia's mana bullets were ineffective against Allen Ambrosia's shadow ability. It was the same ability strong enough to injure Felix Webster of SPEAR back at the Black Dragon Monument. But still, it might be more powerful than he could ever predict.
