Interrupting Work

Recently, Niall had been really stressed with the upcoming album and he'd spent most of his time at the studio writing songs or recording with the boys.

This morning he'd left very stressed so you decided to text one of the boys and see if he was alright. You pulled out your phone and went to Harry's contact before composing a new text. 'Hey Harry, how's Niall? He left pretty stressed this morning and I just wanted to see if he was ok? :)'

You get a response from Harry almost immediately. 'He's doing alright, love. A bit stressed still but I'm sure he'll cool down soon :) we'll try and help x'

You're happy with the response but text back. 'Thanks Harold :) Do you want me to bring you guys anything?'

Again, almost immediately you get a text back. 'Some pizza would be nice? Just kidding love x'

Although he did say he was joking, you decide to give the boys a treat and get them pizza anyway.

You had just ordered the pizza through the phone and now you were on your way to pick it up. You got a different range of flavours and also a box for you.

Once you pulled up to the studio, you walked up and knocked on the door before seeing Niall open it seconds later.

"What are you doing here? We're trying to work." He says angrily, clearly still stressed like he was this morning.

"U-um, I just bought you guys some pizza." You say before hearing one of the boys yell out.

'Nialler, who is it?'

As soon as someone said that, Harry came to the door.

"Hey Y/N, what are you doing here?" He says before bringing you into a hug. You immediately hug back, knowing he's probably going to be the only one you'll get a hug from today.

"I bought you guys some pizza." You say.

"Aww babe. I was joking but thanks anyway." He said. He always called you 'babe' like he did with most other women he knew well.

"Don't.Call.Her.That" Niall angrily growls as he turns to face Harry.

"Hey mate, I've always called her that and you've never had an issue. What's your problem today? You on your monthly?" Harry asks, making you quietly snort behind Niall.

"What? So you think it's funny? Go and be with him then." Niall says to you before he goes to walk away. You quickly grab his wrist. 

"Ni, calm down. You don't need to get angry. I'm sorry I interrupted your work but I was just bringing you guys some food. Please don't get angry." You say, hoping to calm him down.

"Well thanks, but you can leave now." He says before taking the pizza and shutting the door in your face.

He'd been angry before, but he'd never been so rude, especially not to you.

You were upset to say the least and you walked back to the car before getting in and driving home.

It was just past 10pm and Niall still wasn't home. He'd left early this morning and by the looks of it, he was still angry. You tried messaging him but he didn't even read the texts, he was ignoring you.

You were now sitting with your phone on the couch but you couldn't stop the tears streaming down your face. You didn't know why he was being so rude to you; sure, he was stressed but that didn't give him the right to be rude.

You put your phone down, just thinking about it all when you heard the door open. You didn't go to greet him like you usually did because he'd probably just ignore you so you stayed on the couch.

The light in the living room was off so he probably didn't know where you were but you heard his feet trudge upstairs and you saw your bedroom light turn on.

You got up and walked into the spare room. He obviously didn't want to see you and you didn't want to annoy him so you got straight into bed.

You heard the door open before Niall started talking. "Y/N, what are you doing in here?" You heard him say.

You tried to stop the sniffles coming out but he heard you. He turned the light on and raced over to the bed to sit next to you.

"Baby, what happened?" He said softly as if nothing happened.

You just ignored him like he'd done earlier to you. He tried picking you up and putting you on his lap but you resisted.

'How can he just stroll in here and pretend to care and act like nothing happened?'  You thought.

"Princess, what's wrong? Why are you ignoring me?" He asks again.

"Don't act like you did nothing wrong Niall, you know exactly what you did." You say, growling.

"What do you mean baby?" He says.

"Nice try Niall. You can give up the act now." You say before rolling over to face your back towards him.

"Princess, I don't know what I did but I'm sorry. Please don't ignore me." He begs.

"What? Because you haven't been ignoring me at all today either, have you?" You say.

"That's what you're angry about? Princess, I wasn't ignoring you, I just haven't had time to rep-" You cut him off.

"No, that's not what I'm angry about. You slammed the door in my face and you j-just left me. You didn't e-even say b-bye." You say, beginning to cry again.

"Baby, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to. I was just stressed because of the album and I guess you just came at the wrong time. I appreciate you bringing us lunch and I'm sorry for ignoring you. I just didn't have time to check my phone and I left it in the car so I wouldn't get distracted." He bends down giving you a kiss on the cheek before continuing. "I understand if you're still angry, I'll leave now." He says and gets up to leave.

You quickly grab his wrist. "I'm sorry Ni, I didn't mean to get angry. I was just upset is all. You've never been rude to me and I guess I just didn't expect it. I shouldn't have interrupted you anyway, I know how stressed you were."

"No, you did nothing wrong. I'm sorry I lashed out on you and I should've never treated you that way. I was being a dick and I hope you forgive me. I love you baby." He says.

"Of course I do Ni. I love you so much." You say before leaning into kiss him.

He is quick to deepen the kiss. "Can I make it up to you?" He asks. You nod and he quickly picks you up and takes you to your bedroom.

I'm so sorry for this! I know it's extremely bad but I couldn't really think of what to write with this! Also, I don't have any ideas so please send me any requests you have :)
