Graduation (BSM Series)

I think this is actually the first series I've ever done, but it's a brother, sister moments one! It will probably be short but I hope you enjoy anyway :) 

Today was the day of your graduation. You'd been through years of school, years of studying and years of college. Today's the day you've been waiting for forever. All the hard work had finally paid off, and this was it.

There was one thing wrong though. Niall was on tour. He wasn't going to make it.

On your big day, your biggest supporter wouldn't be there. But you understood, he's out living his dream and making everyone happy. You just wished he could be there to help you celebrate.

Trying to push the thought of your big brother not being there to the back of your head, you got out of bed and immediately headed downstairs seeing your parents and sister in the kitchen and living room, decorating.

After your graduation, some of your closest friends and family were coming back to your house to help you celebrate.

Niall still won't be there.

"Morning Mum." You say as you see her, already dressed up and looking amazing.

"Morning my college graduate." Your mum says, kissing your cheek and giving you a hug.

"Mumm, I haven't graduated yet." You whine. "Morning Dad." You say, your dad now coming into view.

"Morning princess." He says, hugging you. Your dad had always called you princess since you were little.

"Morning Y/S/N. Don't eat too much, you might die of overeating." You joke as you see your sister pouring the tiniest bit of cereal into her bowl.

"Haha, you're so funny." Your sister replies sarcastically. "How're you feeling about today?" She asks.

"I'm so excited and nervous. I can't wait but it's going to be a big change." You say.

You're now ready. You have a beautiful, short white lace dress on, your hair is lightly curled and flowing down your back, and your makeup is done to absolute perfection. Today was going to be an exciting day.

You quickly sprayed some perfume before heading out of your bedroom and downstairs where everyone was waiting for you.

You were in line, waiting for your name to be called. Everyone was here, except for Niall. Both of your grandmas and grandpas, your cousins, sister, parents, friends, everyone. Everyone was here.

Your name is called and you walk up to the stage slowly, hoping not to fall over and embarrass yourself. As you're handed your diploma, you hear a loud roar and look into the crowd seeing everyone that was there before, cheering for you.

Everyone leaves the stage and you're about to, before you hear your name being called.

"Thank you everyone and congratulations. You may now leave the stage, except for Y/N Horan, please stay up here." They say.

You look around confused but nevertheless, you stay on stage and walk towards the announcer.

"Y/N here" The announcer gestures towards you. "Y/N has an older brother which many of you may know from One Direction, his name is Niall Horan. Anyway, he unfortunately couldn't be here today because he's travelling the world, but he's sent in a quick video for you Y/N." He says and you immediately look at your family and start crying.

You turn around to watch the video playing.

"Hi Y/N. I'm so sorry I couldn't be there with you today on your big day, but I hope you know I miss you a ton and I'm so proud of you. Just remember I'm your biggest supporter and I really wish I could be there. I love you so much Y/N and I have a surprise there for you." You're even more confused but you keep watching as tears stream down your face.

"Turn around Y/N." The video says and you instantly spin around to see Niall at the end of the aisle. As soon as you see him, you're crying even more and you run in your heels, straight towards him. You meet in the middle and you immediately jump on him as he wraps his arms around you and kisses you on the cheek. 

The crowd 'aww's' but right in this moment, that's all blocked out. Your biggest supporter is here and he made it to your graduation.

"I missed you so much Y/N." Niall says, his smile so wide.

"I missed you s-so much Niall. W-what are you doing here? I thought you were in America?" You say, still crying.

"I know, but I would never miss this. You know I'm your biggest supporter and I'd be a pretty shitty brother if I didn't make it to your graduation." He says. You cry even  more and wrap your arms 10x tighter around him. "I'm so proud of you." He whispers in your ear.

P.S. I have my first job interview tomorrow, does anyone have any tips or advice? :|
