Christmas Shopping + Author's Note

"So, we need to get gifts for your parents, your grandparents, Greg and Denise, Theo, my parents, my siblings, my grandparents and I think that's it. Then we'll separate and I'll buy your presents." You say to Niall as you walk hand-in-hand with him, through the shopping centre.

"Sounds good beautiful." He replies, leaning in to give you a peck on the cheek.

"Mhm. What do you think your family will like?" You ask.

"Umm, well I was thinking for Mum, I should get her some new kitchen things because she said she wanted like a mixer and new kettle. For Dad, umm, I might just get him some cologne and something else. Greg, maybe a new watch? Denise, maybe some jewellery. Theo, just toys and my grandmother, I haven't really thought about." He says, his thinking mind apparent as his eyebrows furrow and he squeezes your hand tighter.

"You're a very organised man this Christmas." You laugh.

"I have no idea what I'm getting you though beautiful, I wouldn't call that organised." You blush at the name, like you do every time Niall calls you a nickname like that.

"You always blush whenever I say beautiful, my love, princess, baby girl or love." Niall chuckles, noticing the blush on your cheeks. "You're so cute." He says as you hide your face in his shoulder.

"So we've got all of our presents for family, is it time to do ours now?" Niall asks as you finish buying your last present.

"I think so. We'll separate and just text me when you're done. I've already got the wrapping equipment so you don't have to worry about any of that." You say.

"Alright, I'll see you soon Princess. I love you." He says, leaning in to give you a kiss.

"I love you too Ni." You say before you part ways.

You'd just gotten home from Christmas shopping with Niall, both of you having got all of your presents for your families and each other.

Niall was waiting in the car for you at the shops, already having finished his shopping for you. 

"Put them in the back seat baby girl, I have yours in the trunk." Niall says as you approach the car.

You do as said, placing all the bags in the seat behind Niall so he couldn't see them.

"Did you have fun?" You ask Niall.

"Loads. I had absolutely no idea where to look for the things I got you so I had to ring Dani." Niall says, referring to Louis' girlfriend, making you giggle.

"You're such a dork Niall." You grab onto his hand as he pulls out of the parking lot.

"But you wouldn't have me any other way." He chuckles, bringing your entwined hands up to his mouth to kiss yours.

As soon as you arrive home after your shopping trip, you and Niall both run into the house with your gifts, putting them in secret hiding spots. Tonight was also the night you had dedicated to wrapping the gifts so you wrapped each others gifts in separate rooms before moving into the living room to watch a movie while you wrapped families gifts.

Today was a very festive dedicated day, but it was also one of the most enjoyable days, ending it with you and Niall cuddling on the couch. 

Authors Note:

Can I just say, I'm so extremely proud of Louis. No words can describe the bravery and strength that boy has. He got up and sung his heart out to the song, dedicating every bit of it to his mother and I'm sure she's extremely proud also.

It honestly broke my heart when he sung the last line and his voice cracked and then when he blew the kiss. 

Also, I'm sure the fact that the boys were there made it feel so much better for Louis. Bless those boys for showing up and supporting him. Niall literally flew from NY to London to be there for him and if that's not special friendship, then I don't know what is.

Anyway, I just wanted to say I'm so proud of Louis and I hope him and his family are doing at least a little bit better and know they have millions of people supporting them.
