Proposal

Tonight was date night. Niall told you this morning that tonight you were going on a date and not to dress too fancy. You loved those dates a lot better, just relaxing dates with your one and only.

You still had no idea where you were going, however, because Niall said it was a surprise. You'll just have to wait and see.

Niall had been out that day so you just sat around on the couch and binge-watched on Netflix for the majority of the day. You get a text pop up around 2pm.

'Picking you up at 6 baby girl. Remember not to dress too fancy, jeans and a shirt is fine. I promise tonight's date is going to be extra good! Love you baby, see you soon xx.'

The 'extra good' part of the text got you a bit confused and excited at the same time, but you just decided to ignore it for now.

Around 4, you picked yourself up off the couch and walked up to your ensuite, hopping in the shower. You washed yourself, including your hair, and shaved making sure Niall had a smooth leg to hold if you followed the date with more activities later on.

You stepped out of the shower and dried yourself before making your way over to your excessively-organised walk in robe, picking out an outfit. You decided to dress casual, just like Niall said. You pulled out a pair of black jeans with rips on the knees and a black and white striped high neck shirt.

You threw the clothes on before heading over to your vanity, doing your hair and makeup. You curled your hair slightly, leaving it down and for makeup, you went for a natural look. You applied a bit of foundation and concealer, some mascara, eyeliner and a bit of gold-ish eyeshadow.

You sprayed some perfume and walked over to your jewellery. You picked out a pair of silver pearl earrings and a bracelet Niall had gotten you for your 2 year anniversary. You threw on some converse also. Once you looked in the mirror and were completely satisfied, you walked downstairs to check your phone and the time.

It was close to 6 by the time you finished up so you sat on the couch, scrolling through your phone and waiting for Niall's arrival.

You heard the knock on the door, realising Niall must have left his house keys at home when he took them off the other day. You walked over to the door and opened it, revealing a Niall in black jeans and also, a striped shirt with a bouquet of roses in his hand. The outfit matching wasn't planned, but it was cute.

"Hi beautiful." He says, handing you the flowers.

"Hi Ni. Thank you so much." You say, accepting the flowers and heading to the kitchen to put them in a vase. Niall follows behind, wrapping his arms around you.

"We're matching baby girl." He laughs.

"I know, it wasn't even planned." You laugh along.

"Great minds think alike." He says. "Anyway, how was your day baby girl?"

"It was good. Just watched a bit of Netflix. How 'bout you?" You ask, turning around nd wrapping your arms around him when you finish fixing the flowers.

"The boys were helping me set up our date tonight." He gives you a peck on the lips.

"Now you're scaring me. First you say its going to be extra exciting, and now you're saying that you've spent the whole day planning and setting up our date. Is there something wrong?" You laugh.

"Nope, nothing at all baby. Anyway, the date is set up and I think we should get going." He says, grabbing your hand before leading you out.
