Chapter 13

Lexis POV

My fit bit buzzed on my wrist, telling me it was time to wake up. I glare at my clock before swinging my feet over the edge of my bed and shuffling across my room. Even though I only missed one day of school, it feels really nice to sleep in and have a lazy day. I already have to readjust to school after only being gone one day. Luckily for me today is Friday, I get through today and then I have the whole weekend. I heard Oliver and Kaden up all night playing video games so, I doubt they are going to school. I walk to the bathroom and put my hair up in a cute messy bun. I put on a skin tight light purple T-shirt and some white shorts. I pull on my white converse and swipe some mascara on my eyes. I walk to Oliver's door and open it quietly, Kaden is sprawled out on the floor while Oliver sleeps comfortably in his king size bed. Guys are so weird, I don't understand why they don't just sleep in the same bed, girls do it all the time. I walk quietly over to Kaden, making sure to not wake Oliver who is out like a light. I kneel beside Kaden's body and look at him silently. Don't call me a stalker okay, I can admire my hot boyfriend, who by the way looks even cuter when he's sleeping. I stare at his full pink lips, his sharp jawline and the way his hair is pressed to his face from sleeping. His mouth is slightly open and he looks incredibly sexy. I can't resit the urge to press my lips lightly to his. His eyelids flutter open slightly and he smiles at me when he sees me. Its one of his sincere smiles, not his usual smirks, it shows all of his perfectly white teeth. I smile back,

"Morning Angel," he says and I nearly faint at the raspy sound his voice has from sleep.

"Angel?" I smirk.

"What you don't like it?" He chuckles lightly.

"I actually kinda love it." I admit

"Okay angel," he whispers and wraps his arms around me, pulling me to him. I'm wrapped up in his chest when he presses his lips to my hairline.

"Your beautiful angel," he says quietly his eyes already closing again. He has to be so tired. I pull slightly from his bear hug and smile.

"I have to go to school, I'll see you tonight, okay?" I say.

"Okay," he says his voice still husky.

"Get some sleep bear," I whisper.

"Bear?" he says with a chuckle.

"Yes, your my bear, my big and strong boyfriend. My protector and my pet." I smile.

"Whatever you say angel," he smirks. I'm almost out the door when he calls out "You going to Tyler's party tonight?"

"Hell yeah!" I say.

"Wanna be my date angel?"

"Of course, bear." I smile at the pet name I have given to him.

I creep out of Oliver's room and close the door quietly behind me.

I walk down the hallway "

Lela, Alexis, Wilbur, and Hector we are leaving for school in 10 minutes if you aren't ready I will leave without you." I shout.

"Okay," they all shout back in unison.

"Saddie and Travis, get up!" I yell.

"Ugh we are up dumb ass." Saddie yells back.

"Saddie I don't like your tone!" I say back.

I hear her sigh, I know I'm acting like her mother but she doesn't have anyone else and I need to make sure she is under control, I nearly lost it when I was her age.

I walk downstairs and eat a banana. I put the peel in the trash,

"Anyone who wants a ride to school be at my car in one minute." I shout.
