Minho (SHINee) Part 1

The very first day we met was during a basketball at my school. His school was going against my school and I went to support my school's team. I didn't remember his face until the next time my best friend introduced us to each other again. This time though, she gave him my number. She would haha. At first, I just wanted him to be a good friend. But of course, your heart never listens to your brain.

It's almost been a year since we've met now. Just two more months to go! I don't know why but I felt so excited to get together with Minho for a run at the park. While stretching nearby a bench, I looked around incase Minho arrived. I wanted to surprise him. Just then, I saw him getting out of his car and preparing his things for our little run. As quickly and as quietly as I could, I ran to him and hopped onto his back!
"Aigoo!" He grunted out loud in an exaggerated manner.
Ahh that kinda hurt me... I shouldn't do this anymore haha.
Getting off, I ignored the slight pain I got and laughed it off. He was looking at me, surprised. "You're here!" I said happily.
"Yea, did you wait long?"
"Nope. I just arrived awhile ago and just started stretching."
There was a small silent awkwardness from the both of us. There was nothing to talk about at the moment. To break the awkward silence I said, "Sooo are you ready to run?"
"Yea. But a few teammates are also coming along and I don't think they're here yet. Do you think we could wait a little longer?"
I felt a little disappointed but smiled and said, "Sure! I'll just be sitting at that bench over there."

Leaving him at his car, I went back to the bench and sat down with a heavy sigh. I thought we would actually be able to get closer today... He's always awkward around me in person so it makes me awkward back! It's okay! It's not like his whole team is coming. Maybe just a couple of his friends.

"This is my team! Haha." Minho said.
My mind went blank.... Did I just jinx it? His whole team was here to run together. Why am I even here? How did this even happen? I felt as if my soul was separating from my body. But I smiled and said, "Greeatt!"

So when we started our run, as a group, Minho and I were next to each other the whole time. Just not talking to each other... And then as if he forgot that I was there, he picked up his pace to catch up to his other team mates ahead. I ended up running by myself the entire time.

When I arrived back to the starting point, I looked around for Minho but he was no where to be seen. I went to one of his team mates and asked, "Where's Minho? I can't seem to find him."

He replied, "Oh he left already."
He left? Without even saying goodbye or letting me know?
"Ah okay, thank you."

On the way home, I was a bit annoyed and couldn't stop thinking about it. How could he leave without even letting me know? When I got home it was already late so I decided to brush it off for now and to just get ready for bed.

The next day, I decided to text Minho and ask him why he left without a word. But with an unserious tone.

___: How can you leave without saying goodbye?!?! 😱😱😱

Minho: Because you were so focused on running lol

___: That's not a really good excuse 😂 But did you have fun?

Our conversation continued on but I started to notice the difference in his tone as time passed by. It was as if he was...uninterested. Uninterested in talking to me anymore. He usually types with emojis here and there, is really playful, funny, and weird. But now it seems as though he didn't even want to talk to me.
I feel as though it became worse as time passed by. He was always the one who would text me first but lately it's been me. And I'm that type of person who doesn't like to start the conversation first. Either way, it wasn't as bad until next week, the 2nd to basketball game at a neighboring school.
