I sat in the living room watching Bernice put Aurora's shoes on. I looked her up and down rubbing my beard. I like her in anything, but it's something about when she dresses casual that does something for me. She's had her little moods towards me and I honestly don't know why. "Little girl! Are you finished or are you done having a tantrum?" She said making me chuckle to myself.

"Ro, cut it out." I said getting tired of seeing her fight B on putting on her sparkly high top converse. She was probably mad Bernice put her in a dress. Today is Malachi's 5th birthday, so we're getting ready for his birthday party. All it took for her to act right was me saying something. I looked at the hallway to see Kai coming into the room. I looked down noticing his shoes were untied. "Come here, Kai." He came up to me and I tied the laces on his Vans.

"Y'all ready?" Bernice asked with Aurora on her hip. I nodded then we left going to a park in Manhattan where his Mickey Mouse themed party would be held. I still think it was a little much for a little kids party. There were bounce houses, a face painter, and other kid stuff. My mom's is starting to rub off on B when it comes to birthdays and holidays.

Kai held onto my arm dragging me beginning to point. "There's Gianna!" He said excitedly looking over at me smiling.

I pushed his hand down. "Don't act so eager. Play it cool, little man. Dats shawty?" I asked looking at the little girl amongst the group of little kids. Bernice invited all of his new friends from his kindergarten class and the kids of people we know. "You did good, my guy." I said dapping him. "Go on. Go say hi to everybody," he nodded running off as I made sure I greeted all of the parents. I laughed seeing Ro running behind Kai screaming to steal his attention away from his "girlfriend". Instead of him being mad he gave her the attention she wanted. I looked as Kai held onto Ro's hands. I've been trying to teach him how to be a gentleman, so he'll turn out better than me. If he treats his sister correctly it'll translate to women later on in life. I pulled my phone out taking a picture real quick posting it to my instagram.
