We went back in. Tori was happy, he was smiling. Seeing that made me happy.
"Huh my phone is ringing?" I said.
"Who is it?" said Sachiko.
"Misa" I said.
Tori stood up and ran to me.
Misa was crying.
"They said I'm getting executed tomorrow" cried Misa.
"Wh-what? Why?" I said.
"All evidence points to me" she continued.
"I've got to go goodbye Light" said Misa.
"What is it?" Asked Tori.
"S-she is getting executed" I cried.
Tori hugged me and cried.
"Light, leave Tori here and go see Mi-"
"No" I shouted.
"Come on Tori" I said.
He held my hand. We ran to the police office.
"Yagami again?" Said the receptionist.
"Yes. Please we need to see Misa" I said.
"Go through those doors".
We walked through, on the other side was fully armed officers. They pointed guns at us.
"What i-is this?" I said.
"GET THE BOY" they shouted.
"LEAVE HIM ALONE" I shouted.
One knocked me to the floor and handcuffed me.
"PLEASE LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Shouted Tori.
They took Tori to a different room.
"Yagami, who is Tori to you?" Asked one.
"He-he's my cousin" I said.
"Sure he is" said Arata.
"He's your son isn't he?" He continued.
Should I lie?
"Yes... he is" I said.
Why didn't I hesitate when saying that?
"Ok take them both upstairs" said Arata.
