Chapter 83:

"Your eyes are red and everything! Wait, you're that shinigami aren't you?! You got possessed in the middle of a battle and ended up like this! See I read the news you know" he said.
I walked to him.
"You look scarier with those eye slits I gave you! I'm nice... we both kill people. Come on we can team up!"

"Team?" I growled.
"Yes team!"
"No I kill criminals. You kill innocent people! There's no way I'd team with you!" I snapped.
I went to attack him but I was too weak so I fell.
"Whats going on!?" I said to the demon.
"You need to eat. You can't fight without eating!"
"Eat? Eat what?" .

I looked around. There was nothing but dead bodies.
"You can eat anything!" The demon said in a tempting voice.
"Look at all the food around you...." He continued.
"Thats not food that's flesh!" I shouted.
Montaro looked at me. He looked confused.
"It's the only food..." said the demon.
I looked at the bloodied up bodies.
"I can't!" I snapped.

Arata ran in and looked at me.
"Light don't do it!" He shouted.
Montaro looked at Arata and grabbed his knife. He walked towards him laughing.
I got up.
"Go on Light, you know you want to...." the demon whispered.
"Just run and bite...."
"Kill..." I whispered.
I walked towards them. Arata pulled out his gun.
"Guys come in!" He shouted.
Everyone came.

"I can't take it!!" I growled while running towards Montaro.
I leaped at him and grabbed him.
I threw him to the wall. I took my suit jacket of and looked at my arm. There was one place that hadn't rotted. With a split second decision I bit my arm.
"Light!" Arata shouted.
"Good boy. Now go get him!" The demon shouted.
I grabbed him again. I held him by his neck onto the wall.
"Please...." He shreiked.
"You can bite my neck if you team with me" he continued.
"I'm not a monster like you!" I snapped.
"You just ate part of your arm! You are a monster!" He shouted.
"Fair enough but its for a good cause" I growled.
"Since you brought it up, I might as well kill you!!!!" I continued.

I threw him to the floor. He got up.
"Light come on I'll finish this!" Arata shouted.
I walked away from him. I stopped and thought.
"Light!" He shouted.
I turned and ran towards Montaro. I leaped at his neck. He moved and I went into the wall.
"I've got you know" he said running towards me with his knife. He stabbed me in the back. I felt the flesh crumble.
Arata shot his leg.

"Light that was quite a sneaky move!" Arata laughed.
"Are you alright?" He continued.
He walked up to me. Montaro was pulling himself towards the knife. He grabbed it and tried to pull himself back over. Arata kneeled next to me. Montaro was behind him on the floor.
"Arata! Watch out!" Shouted Takayuki.
Montaro pulled himself up and stabbed Arata in the back of the leg.

The others ran and grabbed Montaro and took him to the van.
