Napa-facepalm ako dahil sa dami ng tao sa gymnasium. Ugh. They are totally attention seekers.

"Go L malabs! You can do it!"

"Go Kobe bebe! Talunin mo siya!"

"Go Luke! Go go Luke Montesalve!"

"Go Kobe number 24!"

"Team HaLu couple forever!"

What the hell was HaLu?!

(I pronounce it as Hey-Lu tho. XD)

Napalingon ako sa tabi ko, na si Charles, at sa kabila naman na si Hyde. They were about to go home earlier but rushed here when they heard about the news.

"He last played here 6 years ago. He was the best player back then. Pero tinigil niya dahil nakakasagabal sa studies niya." Hyde suddenly said.

"And he doesn't like girls that much. He respects them but sometimes they get totally annoying." Charles said.

Luke and Kobe finally came out. The gym was suddenly filled with screams and cheers. I mentally gasped when I saw Luke, being so serious wearing his very own jersey with number 7 on his back.

He looked around and I tried to calm my feels as he smiled when he saw me.

"Cheer for me please, angel." Ang tanging sabi niya at tatarayan ko na sana siya nang magnakaw siya ng halik pisngi ko. Napatahimik ako at nagsisisi ako dahil nagmukha akong tanga sa harap niya. Tsk!

Duh Hazel, galit ka nga diba? Galit ka lang dapat!

Umalis na siya sa harap ko at nagpunta sa court. Mapatingin naman ako kay Kobe na seryosong nakatingin sa kaniya.

Lalong umingay nang magsimula ang laro.

Halos lahat kami hindi na humihinga nang makitang pisikal na nagkakasakitan silang dalawa. But not in a fist fight way.

"Damn it! One point nalang may mananalo na!" Ani ni Charles at halatang medyo kinakabahan din siya.

"This is exciting though." Hyde only uttered.

Halos malaglag ako sa upuan nang makitang naagaw ni Kobe ang bola kay Luke. Napapikit ako nang tumakbo siya papunta sa kung saan siya nagshu-shoot. Uh! Kinakabahan ako!

I closed my eyes firmly. If Luke wins, I"ll lose Kobe, my comforter, my friend. But if Kobe wins, I'll lose Luke.

And that thought scares me more.

The gymnasium went silent for a while but shouted and screamed after. I wished for one thing even though I hated myself for wishing that.

But I was confused 'cause they keep on shouting "boo!"

I opened my eyes and saw the dean with some profs entering the court.

"Both of you, come to my office, now!" I heard the dean said and a big part of me mentally shouted in joy because none of them won.
