"Mom, I don't wanna go to church. It's early," little 4 years old me said as I pulled on my mother's hand.

She looked down at me with a smile and dug in her bag. She then pulled out a lollipop. I started jumping up and down in excitement. "Me want!" I squealed.

"I will give it to you only if you stop complaining," and with that being said I shook my head. She unwrapped the lollipop and handed it to me.

"I see someone had to be bribed," my father chuckled as he held my mother's hand. We all started to walk into the church.

I couldn't help but smile. My parents were the best thing I could ask for.

I blinked again and I was pulled to the memory of the pastor preaching.

I remember how bored I was that day. I kept leaning on my mom and she kept making sure I was awake. The doors to the church burst open and 5 guys came in all dressed in black. They didn't have on masks but they had guns. The congregation screamed as they opened fire.

"Get down on the ground!" one of the guys screamed.

I watched as my mother pulled me down and pushed me under the bench. "Don't make a sound Sky. Whatever you do, do not move from under the bench until someone like a cop finds you. Do not use your powers either," my mother whispered.

"Mommy what's happening and why can't I use my powers," I whispered as tears started to roll down my cheeks. I watched as my father wiped my tears away and kissed my forehead. "We love you Sky and we need to keep your secret safe. Tell all the boys we love them and they were the best sons we ever had," they said together.

My mother and father both crawled to the other side of the bench and lay on the ground in the opening like everyone else. I watched as one of the guys stepped up to them.

"Give me all of your jewelry and cash. Put it in the bag," he growled and my parents did as told. I watched the guy smirked then pulled the trigger on my father. His lifeless body fell to the ground and my mother's screams were shortly cut off as they shot her next.

I silently screamed inside my head as tears trickled down my face. I watched as the guys took out some more people as they took cash and jewelry. As they finished off I watched as they started pouring gasoline everywhere. One of the guys lit a match and threw it toward the poppet. They all walked out and I heard a truck start then speeded off. I got out from under the bench and ran to my mother's body.

"Mom," I called, shaking her as more tears came out. "Dad, wake up," I said, shaking him as well. The door burst open and I turned to see a bunch of men dressed in black armed suits.

"My mommy and daddy needs help. They aren't waking up," I cried louder and hugged my parents. I felt myself being pride of their body and being carried. "MOMMYY!!! DADDYY!!!" I screamed and watched as the armed guys roam around the room. Their body was soon out of sight and I found myself outside. I was then placed on a seat and watched as a familiar guy stepped into view.

"Do you remember me Skylar" he said kneeling down to my height. I slowly nodded my head at the young man who was in his late 20s. "Y-you're Mr. H-henry," I said in between cries.

"Yes I am. I will be taking care of you and your brothers from now on and keeping you guys safe as well," he said, wiping my tears away.

"You can look up to me like an older brother if you want," he said, offering a smile.

"You're older than James then," I giggled. He let out a little laugh and nodded. "Speaking of James, I want my guys to round them up and carry them to my house."
