The man strides over to the elevator. His co-workers cheer and slap him on the back. He got a promotion. A good one, but he can't help but feel a little guilty. He reaches the elevator finally, thanking the heavens that it is empty and he presses the button for his new office on the topmost floor. A lot has happened in the past few weeks but he's glad he now has the office he's wanted for years.

He enters the new office, the morning sunlight illuminating his desk. There's a pile of papers sprawled over the mahogany table, put there by his assistant. He takes a seat on the pure leather chair, shuffling through congratulatory letters until he reaches the newspaper from today. He is about to throw it in the large trashcan in the corner when the bold headline catches his eye.

The morning Sydney sun illuminates his clear blue eyes.
