For God sakes, I jumped up my fingers just grazing the spine of the book but not reaching. "Goddamn height" I grumbled feeling like I was never going to reach the book. I saw hands suddenly reach up and grab it "oh babe your so short" I recognised that condescending voice "hi Jess" I heard him laugh as he handed me the book. "Thank you dear" I reached up and pecked him on the lips.

"Your really doing this aren't you? He was referring to my senior project in Biology which was due in a few in a few months. "Oh come on Marley it's due in Feburary and if you haven't noticed its December and come on Christmas break starts in two days!" I rolled my eyes at him he was even more persistent now that we were dating.

Jesse and I had been dating since the start of sophomore year and it was almost two years since we started dating but I had been in love with him since I was ten, before I even knew what love meant. Interrupting my thoughts Jesse swooped in for a kiss and I instantly responded and I couldn't help but feel giddy because every kiss with Jesse felt like the first one. "So....your parents are out of town and Clarion is with a friend right?" Jesse alarms after breaking his kiss. "Yes? Why?" I watched Jesse waggle his eyebrows and I laughed at his response "you can come over Jesse you know that"
"I do know that" and he kissed me once again.

Almost 2 hours later we had found ourselves in my bed tangled in the sheets and clothes strewn over the floor , I didn't need to fill in the blanks on what happened do I? Jesse reached over and kissed on the forehead "babe can we get some food you tired me out" I couldn't help but blush at his flirtatious words "we can call Iris and go out to lunch with her if you like?" I said curling my arms around him "mmmmm that sounds good, I'll call her while you get changed" he reached over me to grab the phone while I wrapped the blanket around me.

I picked up a discarded blue shirt and pulled it on while I pulled on some shirts under the sheets. I heard Jesse talking to Iris but he was beginning to sound frustrated and he hung up suddenly. "What's wrong?" I asked touching his shoulder and he sighed heavily "she said she'll think about it but you knows being..." He didn't finish and I wouldn't push him. "Hey won't don't you on some music?" I said because music always makes me feels better, Jesse nodded in response.

Scrolling through my music he scoffed "what!?" I didn't like my music being insulted "you have why too much R5 and All time Low on here! Where's the good stuff" I punched his arm in retaliation "like what? Your favourites!? you listen to Katy Perry and Avril Lavigne" I loved teasing him about that "can't we just listen to our song?" He pleaded

And we did until we needed to leave for our outing with Iris.

"Thanks for dropping me home Jess" after our afternoon with Iris, Jesse insisted on dropping me home. "Did Iris seem a little weird tonight?" I asked him before getting out "a bit but she's been like that since sophomore year" we both knew why drop down but we would never admit it because it would mess everything up. "You don't..." I started "NO! Marley I love you no one else and I will never leave you" he kisses me to seal the deal but my heart still felt strange like he was lying.

"I love you too"

Life was good now despite my parents separation and Clarions angst and Iris moodiness I was happy.
