Better Safe than Sorry

I slowly open my eyes, i feel heavy as i struggled to move,

A soft groan came from my left,i turn around to see Dave snuggling softly, his eyes were closed,

I groan as i move my body, his weight was ridiculously heavy, i move his hands that are wrapped around me, i place them away from me,i brushed my teeth and start to clean the coffee table,

I threw away the plastic wrappers, unplugged the TV from the laptop and switched it to the channels, i kept the excess food in the fridge, i read my cookbook to find something to make for breakfast,

I chose to make bacon rolls, veggie tacos, and breakfast wraps,

...

After all the sweat, burns and popping oil, i finally did it, i placed the food on the dining table,

I arranged the plates and utensils, i made a pitcher of fresh orange juice, two cups of coffee, one strong, and one milky,

I removed my apron, i washed the utensils i used,

"Abby?" i turn around with soapy hands, Dave yawned and rubbed his eye, he looked sexy and at desame time cute,

"Morning sleepy head" i tease and went back to washing the utensils,

I hummed a tune of a song while washing, i was known for being a good singer, but i know my voice needs practice,

As i washed the dishes, i turned back to see Dave walking towards me,

"Hey,you happen to have any extra toothbrush?" he asks as i glance my eyes at his lips,

"Yeah..at the top drawers, the ones with a plastic bag around it" i said as he walked towards the bathroom, his back was infront of me, revealing his muscular defined back, i imagined him working out, but shook the thought away, disgusted by my own dirty mind,

I finished as i placed the utensils on their proper places,

Dave walked out of the bathroom, i damped my hand with a hand towel,

"Breakfast is served" i said as i sit down on the table,

"Looks tasty" he commented, he took one piece of each of the food i made, he took the cup of strong coffee i made him and sipped at it,

I also took one on each of the food, and a glass of orange juice,

I poked on the bacon roll and placed it in my mouth, delicious...

The saltiness of the bacon had a kick of the egg, onions and bread,

I tried the veggie taco, i take a bite,the crunchiness mixed with the juicy vegetables inside, the little meat pieces made a great combination with it, and the egg was amazing,

I next tried the breakfast wraps, i sliced into it and took a piece to my mouth, it had bell pepper, sausage, and cheese, which tasted amazing,i thought it'll taste horrible, but wow,

I sip on some orange juice, i look back at Dave to see his plate empty, he burped unexpectedly,

"Excuse me, but your a great cook" he said and i shrug,

"Thanks, are you done?"

"Nope, i'm finishing this all"

...

He insisted on washing the dishes, i let him be, i put the plates on the sink, he stares at me first before washing it,

"I'll be taking a shower first, its time for work" i said and he nods without turning to face me,

I walk to the bathroom and took a shower,

...

I opened my closet and chose to wear a cute off shoulder white top with a grey pencil skirt, i dry my hair with a blower, giving it more volume, i put on silver dangling earings that match my outfit, i apply some makeup before slipping on my feet a pair of black high heels,

I find in my closet a black shoulder bag, i fill it in with my phone, my wallet and a bottle of water,

I walk out to find Dave wearing different clothes,

"Hey, where did you shower?" i ask and he checks his reflection on the mirror,

"Oh, while you were showering, i finsihed the washing early and drove to my house first and took a shower then changed my clothes" he stated while i look at him from head to toe,

Neat hair fixed in place, smooth face, not crinkled suit, expensive black shoes,

"Ok" i simply said and headed to the door,

As i went past him, he grabbed my arm, making me stop in place,

I faced him as he eyed me from head to toe before opening his mouth to speak,

"You look beautiful" He said as my heart melted, the way he said those words made me feel different from other girls,

"T-thank you.." i stammer as i speak, he lets go of my arm, i quickly walk outside, heading to his car,

We walk inside together,side by side, not caring if anyone sees us,

We step inside the elevator and Dave presses the highest floor,

Ding!

We walk inside his office, i placed my bag on the couch, he walks to his desk, sits down and starts typing in his laptop,

I guess he forgot that i'm his coffee...

Oh well...better yet remind him of it..

But i can just...not remind him so we don't have to make out in the morning..

BUT...yet again its my job...

BUT... this would make it much easier for me to not kiss him

So i can distance myself away from him

BUT...he'll know that i forgot to kiss him in the morning

AND he'll get mad, whic will cause the whole world to explode,

Naaahh...i'm just kidding..MY world's going to explode,

I was so lost in thought that i didn't realize that i was staring at Dave, who is looking at me confusely,

"What's wrong Abby?" he asks and knits his eyebrows,

"Nothing" i snap out of my thoughts and look down on my black heels,

I took a deep breath in before looking up and walking to the back of him,

I stare at him, asking myself if i shoulf do it,

*sigh*

I tug him on the back of his collar, i face him towards me as i wrap an arm around his neck, my other arm went on top of his left shoulder, his eyes filled with confusionn

I went on my tippy toes as i crashed my lips into his,
