We get pulled apart by the sound of Jack coughing signaling we can pull apart now.
We stare into each other's until we figure out what to due next.
The silence is finally broken when Xander finally says, "Wow."
"Wow," I say back as it finally registers in me what just happened.
"Wow," Jack says just to be Jack.
"Well that was a huge turn in events," Jackie says, "Alexbelle, I like it."
"Well, we should start making t-shirts, come on Jackie and let leave the lovebirds be," Jack says with a wink. They both get up and leave me and Xander alone.
After a while Xander finally fills the awkward silence by saying, "So."
"So," I say back because it's the first thing I can think to say.
"What now?" He asks.
"I don't know, what do you want to do," I ask him.
"Well, let's try it," he says. He pulls me into his lap and says, "Isabelle Furhman, will you be my girlfriend?"
I smile and say, "Of course."
That's when the door opens and in comes Jack and Jackie yelling, "Yes, Alexbelle forever." We stare at them funny when the finally say, "Sorry," and walk out.
We spend the rest of the afternoon talking, laughing, and just learning about each other.
