"Isn't he adorable, Tommy?" I whispered as I watched the sleeping baby in my arms.
Tom sat down in the chair beside me, "He's amazing."
We were being quiet not only for the baby's sake, but also for Blair's. She was dead asleep. Benjamin had left a little while ago to go back to their apartment and get it ready for when they get to go home.
"I want one... one day." Tom breathed out.
My gaze shifted to him, his eyes still admiring the baby in my arms, "A baby?"
"Y-Yeah. I never really thought about it until now, but just seeing Darcy makes me want one." he breathed out, a smile creeping onto his face.
I chewed my lip, "Tom, I'm not re-"
"That's why I said one day. I'm not ready yet either. But I do know that whenever I have my own baby, I want it to be with you. I want to be with you forever." he turned and looked me straight in the eyes, pushing a fallen piece of hair behind my ear.
The biggest smile appeared on my face, "You're saying you want to marry me and have a baby with me?"
"In the future, yes. But right now, let's live in the moment."
