So it was the morning of our trip. I still had no idea where we were going.
"Ready babe?", she asked. "Almost." I did some final touches on my makeup and walked downstairs.
Her eyes widened as I walked into the living room.
"You look absolutely stunning", she said. I felt myself blushing.
"Thank you", I said.
She walked up to me and placed her lips on mine.
"Let's go", she said pulling away.
I nodded.
We got in the car.
It took about 1 hour before we got there.
"A forest?", I said.
"This is just the outside. Wait till we've walked for about 10 minutes."
"Walking? Jesus.."
She just laughed. "Come on."
We started walking further into the woods.
"A maze?", I said.
She nodded. "But better."
I was confused.
"Why weren't you just patient like any other normal person?"
Because I'm not normal.
"That's true."
We started walking and I got lost within seconds. I turned around, wanting to say something to Alex, but she wasn't there.
"Alex?", I said. "This isn't funny. Get back here!" No response.
"Fuck this.."
I started walking but almost all the paths were a dead end. I grabbed my phone, wanting to call Alex. No service.. Great.
I just kept walking a little longer till I finally got a bit further into the maze.
"This better be worth it", I said to myself.
"Did you really struggle that much?"
Yes. You know I'm not made for nature. Nature and I don't go together that well.
"But it was worth it right?"
So worth it.
"Glad."
So after what felt like hours, I finally got to a path that didn't have side paths. It was just one way.
"Alex!", I said once in a while. That bitch never replied.
"Excuse me?"
Sorry baby.
I eventually took of my heels, which were killing my feet.
I immediately stepped into what felt like glass. "Fuck.." I held on to on of the branches and checked my foot. It was just a twig. But it hurt like a motherfucker.
I continued walking and finally got to an open spot. There was some kind of gate, so I went through it.
I led me to a smaller open field. There was a chair in the middle of it. I didn't even care, I just sat down because my feet were killing me.
And that's when I heard a guitar.
Alex came out of nowhere, playing the guitar. I instantly started smiling.
And then.. she started singing. And it was beautiful. I couldn't stop smiling.
Maybe it's intuition

y heart was racing. She sounded so good, and it actually looked like she was comfortable with it.
"I love you", I mouthed to her. She smiled and nodded while she kept singing.
