I could hear Rheese opening a bottle of wine because the cork popped louder than what it should have. Turning my head to see what he was busy doing, he picked up the phone and after a few seconds started talking to someone on the other end of the line but I couldn't make out what he was saying.
I turned back facing the window that looked out onto the ocean with my mind going over the nights events that took place.
Suddenly I felt his hands on my arms stroking it with feather light touches and my heart skipped a beat, sending shock waves through my body, making butterflies dancing a round in my stomach.

"I want to talk to you about last night and why I left." Speaking into my ear and then kissing the side of my neck with his hair falling onto my shoulder.
"You have nothing to explain to me. We just had sex once, so you don't owe me any explanation." I said, not wanting to come across desperate or needy.
Turning me around to face him so he could speak directly to me.
"I do. I was selfish Liz and irresponsible. I didn't think to ask you..."
I could see the frustration in his eyes as he spoke to me.

"Look Rheese, I wanted it as much as you did. I should have told you it was my first time. It's not your fault."
Trying to make him understand because it hurt me to see him look the way he did.
He took me in his arms and held me tight. I didn't know quite what to do and held him tighter like it was the last time I would see him.
"Can I make it up to you? I want to. Please let me?" half begging me to comply.
I hesitated for a second but I wanted to find out how he was gonna make it up to me.
"Okay, if you insist." I answered.
The knocking at the door made us both jump.
He looked into my eyes and said,"Stay right were you are. I need to do this the right way."

'What did he have to do the right way? Milling the words over in my head. He was forever speaking in riddles.'

As Rheese walked to the door I couldn't help but look at him from behind. Damn he looked mighty fine tonight. With all the drama it's the first time I noticed what he was wearing. He had on a white cotton shirt and a straight cut black jeans with black slip on shoes.
He was everything I ever dreamed of in a man but I knew he was here for only a short period of time and then he would have to leave.

'Why did I have to fall for HIM?'

When he opened the door, he pulled in a trolley with all different types of food dishes on it.
"Dinner is served, Miss Liz," he said with a smile.
"Rheese, it's late. And all this food."
"It's never to late to eat. Take a seat." Pulling out one of the dining room chairs for me to sit. I watched him bob about putting the array of food, the wine glasses, wine bottle and then pulled a chair up next to me.
Pouring wine into both our glasses and holding his glass up saying- " This is for starting over." - and as I held my glass up we clinked our glasses.
He was trying to make up for walking out on me. I couldn't stay mad at him for what he did and decided that a man like him was worth giving a second chance..

We ate from all the different dishes that was layed out on the table and it wasn't long before I was full.
Taking a sip of my wine I couldn't help but look at him, devouring what was on his plate.
He looked good even when eating.
"Why are you looking at me like that, Liz?" he asked, playfully with a mouth still full of food.
"No reason," I replied with a grin on my face.
Excusing myself from the table, I got up and went to the bathroom to freshen up, taking my time.
When I returned from the bathroom, Rheese was sitting on the couch, watching me as I entered the room. He had soft music playing and I walked to the couch and sat next to him.
"What?" I asked.
Wanting to know why he was looking at me with hungry eyes.
"You are so beautiful and you don't know it. Liz...I am so sorry about everything. Me walking out on you and making you cry. I am sure I'm the reason why you were crying and I'm truely sorry," he spoke with senserity in his voice.
He wrapped his arms around me and started planting kisses all over my face.
My whole body started to heat up with just one touch.
I could never be upset with him, not after trying to fix his mistakes.
His touch melted all my worries and insecurities away.
I was like putty in his hands and he could mold me how he wanted to.
He pulled away from me and looked into my eyes with such intensity and then his lips swooped down on mine.
Kissing me gently at first and then he deepened his kisses, finding my tongue becoming one with each other.
His musk smell heightened my senses and then the world faded away. All that matted was the two of us.
"Can I make love to you, Liz?" moaning into my mouth.
It was more of a plea than a question as he spoke.
I didn't reply but simply pulled him into a deeper embrace giving him my answer with my actions.
I was so new and inexperienced to all of this but I had Rheese to guide me for now even if it was just for tonight.
