"Good morning, Keiko!"

I smiled weakly to the glasses guy that welcomed me from his chair as soon as I entered my class. "Good morning, Shinra."

"You skipped the class yesterday, Keiko. I assume your day with Izaya yesterday was fine." I walked to his desk and stood right beside him.

"How do you know I was with Izaya?"

"Who doesn't know?" Shinra smiled goofly. "Your only friends are either me or Izaya."

"Thanks. You said as if I didn't have many friends."

"It's the truth, though."

Shinra and I continued to talk until I felt someone approaching us and stood beside me. "Good morning, Shinra."

Shinra's eyes brightened as he noticed the person who greeted him. "Good morning, Shizuo!"

I turned my head to the right, looking at the blond. At the same time, Shizuo turned his eyes to me and our eyes met. However, I quickly turned away.

It seemed Shizuo was doing the same as me.

"Shinra, can I borrow your math notebook again? I lost it yesterday." Shizuo looked at Shinra right away.

Shinra sighed heavily. "You gave me a hard time, Shizuo. I had to rewrite it again after you ripped off my notebook."

"Sorry." Shizuo said shortly.

Shinra took his notebook from his bag and lended it to Shizuo. "Here. And please don't rip it again."

Shizuo nodded. "I won't." He then took his leave without looking at me a little bit. It wasn't like I asked for his attention, though.
"Keiko, you still feel uncomfortable with him?" Shinra's blunt question startled me.

"Ehm... is it obvious?"

Shinra nodded. "You two seem to avoid each other, even though you clearly had a talk yesterday."

I stracthed my cheek awkwardly as my eyes directed to other direction, not dare to see Shinra after he busted me. "It's not like I'm avoiding him but... we seem to..." I fiddled my fingers then, "kind of awkward."

"Awkward? I wonder what you were talking about yesterday."

"Eh? It's about..."

"Nah, it's okay if you don't want to tell." Shinra smiled.

"I'm sorry." I whispered out.

"I hope you two will solve your problem. It's kinda sad to see both of my friends having a hard time." Shinra smiled goofly. "Well, except for Izaya and Shizuo though."

"I hope so." I mumbled.

Honestly, I felt like it wasn't just my relationship with Shizuo that had gone badly.

"Keiko-chan!"

Hearing his voice successed making my heart stopped beating for a second. I froze.

"Izaya-kun..." I looked at the man who suddenly ran to me and hugged me from behind. Izaya's laughing yesterday still rang in my ear as I replayed my memory of yesterday.

Was he Izaya yesterday?

"Oi, bastard, stop making such an irritaring noise at this early day." Shizuo scolded as he stood up from his chair. His hand held a pencil. Izaya ruffled my hair as he smirked and glanced at Shizuo.

"Why don't you hurt your ear and make yourself deaf so you won't ever hear my voice again?"

"How about I break your vocal cords so I won't hear your voice again?"
