"So, where are we going?"

"You choose."

"Ehm..." I rubbed my chin with my hand, thinking of the destination as my eyes travelled to the flat surface revealing a Japan map. I had never been on a trip except for school trip, so I was kinda confused. Not to be told, I was going to have a trip with Shizuo, the boy that I just met like a month ago.

Izaya hadn't given me any news since then. He just disappeared without a trace. It was surprising that I was the only one who searched for Izaya while the others seemed didn't care about him.

"Don't worry. Maybe he just goes out with his other 'friend'." That was Shinra and Kadota's answer to me.

Oh well, I just assumed that he was having fun with his friends. Though, I didn't know if they were his friends or just a bet friends.

"I don't want to be too far from here so..." I pointed a region. "What about Yokohama?"

"That's good." Shizuo nodded. "When?"

"You choose," I replied. Shizuo thought for several seconds before he looked at me and answered, "how about Monday? We still have plenty of time to prepare for the trip."

I nodded.

"I should get back before it's night." Shizuo suddenly stood up.

"You don't want to have a dinner in here?" I offered. I thought he would stay after dinner.

"I promise my brother to have a dinner together today." Shizuo headed to the door. His hand grabbed the door handle.

"You have a brother?" It sounded ridiculous but I had no idea that he had a brother. Shizuo opened the door as he turned his head.

He nodded. "He cooks for tonight so I can't miss it. I'm sorry."

"Ah, don't worry," I assured him. "It would be better if you keep that promise."

I led Shizuo to the front door. Before he went out, Mum came out from the kitchen and realised his leaving.

"Oh, you're leaving already? Do you want to stay for dinner?" Mum offered. Shizuo shook his head and answered the same thing he did to me. Mum only nodded as a response.

After he left, Mum stared at me for quite long, making me uneasy.

"You want to talk?"

"Nope." Mum shook her head. "He's a nice kid."

"He's nicer than I expected." I continued. "Moreover, he's Azami's friend."

"You told me before." Mum smiled. "Why don't you invite Izaya?"

Totally not a good idea. "He has a bad term with Shizuo, Mum."

"Oh.."

"And besides.." I pouted. "Izaya is staying in his friend's house."

"I thought you were supposed to hang out with him in this whole break?"

I nodded, as my eyes began to water again. I was so disappointed that everytime I remembered of the promise, I could cry on that place. But I didn't like crying in front of people so I did my best to hide it. I blinked my eyes furiously as I bent down my head.

"Be careful, okay? I'm worried since this is your first time having a trip with a friend. Especially with a boy. But I trust you with him." Mum sighed.

"Thanks, Mum. I promise I'll come back in a piece." I assured her.

Mum nodded.

At the end, Shizuo and I decided to take a two days trip to Yokohama since there were a lot of places we wanted to travel.
