Ezra's Pov.

"How was it?" asked Tie.
"Alright...... It could be better........ always." I answered.
"How's your dad?"

"Good...... I want to show you something. Come on."
She grabbed my hand and we walked into her room.

Ash's Pov.

"How's Tie?" Mark asked.
I didn't answer.
"Is Kanan better?" He asked.
No answer.
"How are you?" He asked.

"That doesn't matter. If you really cared you would've stayed!"
He said,"Fine, just wanted to see if your alright but...... that answered my question."

I rolled my eyes.

"Just to let you know I am and...... always will be fine." I said.

We stood there slient for a little.
I turned back to the window.
I knew he was looking at me.

I sighed.
"We both know your not."
I touched my wrist.

"Well, it's not because of you......"

"Astrid......."

5 years ago.......

Mark's Pov.

I feel onto the ground.
"HEY! LOOKING AT ME, MARK!"

Tears where poring down my eyes.
I couldn't look up at him....... I could hardly see.

"LOOK AT ME!!!" He yelled louder.

He kicked my side.
I heard a cracking noise.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"
I put my hands behind my head.

People had seen me put either just watched or walked away.

"MARK, YOU........!"
I closed my eyes.

Then I heard....... spraypaint?

I looked up and my dad was as running away with a rebel symbol on his back.
I looked up.

They smiled at me. I couldn't tell if they where a girl or boy.

They jumped down the top of the buliding.

"Why hello?"
It was a girl's voice.

She had her back towards me. She had a bottle of spraypaint in her hand.
"No need to worry but by any chance to you know a teenage boy named Mark?"
She painted the rebel symbol on the wall.

I nodded and said,"I am..... him." I tried to get up.
She ran over to me keeping me from falling.
"Keep it easy. That was some nasty pop. I need to pop it back in place."

"What?"

"You'll be fine. 1-2-3!" She said. She pushed me into the wall back onto the ground.
I heard a pop.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"
She sat down next to me.

"Your alright...... Just breathe."
She put her hand on top of mine.
"Your fine."

She looked down at her arm then quickly pulling her sleeve down.
She sighed and looked back over at me.

She smiled and said,"How wonder your still looking at me like that."
She took the mask off her face.

She had an eyepatch with a light green eye and perfectly curled lips. She is a red head....... Why do I like red heads.

"I'm Astrid." She said.

I smiled and said,"Mark...... well you know my name."

She said,"Oh I'm still wearing my eyepatch."
Great....... She's already so cute and now she's taking off her eyepatch!

She said,"I'll get it taken off in a few days. It's best I keep it on."

I asked,"How did you get it?"
She said,"Protecting a kid. I miss that kid. Wait I'm getting of topic." She stood up.
"Ashoka sent me to find you. She told me we would make a good team. Let me just say it like this she wants us to start a fleet."

"Me!?! Why me?" I said as I tried to get up.

She put her arm around me helping up.
"That's what I asked her. We need to get to my ship. I can patch you up and then we'll be on our way."

She put her mask on with her other hand.
"Let's go."

I know I'm going to have future with this girl maybe not a love story as I hope but a start of a friendship.

Present........

"Don't call me Astrid! How many times do I have to tell you?" She said.
She finally looked back at me.

I still love her...... and why does she have to love me........ I wish she would just be...... a freind. It hurts me that I was gone so long and I haven't seen her smile.... hear her laugh.

I know I'll hurt me to just be friends but......

Whatever makes her happy.

"Sorry I'm used to saying Astrid. I'll leave you alone."
I sat down at the table.

I looked back over at her and she was looking at me.

She said,"I don't hate you....... I still...... I still love and you know that..... it's just. We shouldn't have even been together. We should've just kept our feeling to each other.
We hurt each other and well....... I....... Kanan wants us to be together though. Just a warning."

She looked away from me.

Ash's Pov.

Did those words just come out of my mouth!?!

That was deep!!!!

A hand touched my shoulder.
"Well, I'm glad we didn't."

He walked into the other room.
Is this a movie or a book or something!?!

I sighed.

"Astrid?"
Kanan stood at the doorway smiling.

"Yah."

His smiled grew wider and said,"I knew you still loved him!"

"Shut up! You where listing?" I said, walking over closer to him.

He nodded and said,"I'll be the main guy. What do you call the guy at the wedding?"

I said,"Kanan!"
Idra laughed and so did Mark.
