That Guy who walked past me today,
That Guy who smiled and said hey,
That Guy who made me blush,
That Guy who made my heart rush.
That Girl who passed my way,
That Girl who never said hey,
That Girl who I can't not see,
That Girl always stays with me.
That Guy I can't stop thinking,
Did he know I'd been drinking?
Did he know that I was hurt?
Broken? Beaten? Lonely? Burnt?
That Girl did she know that my smile,
Was only cos she passed for awhile?
That I'd lost my job,my life, purpose?
And she'd brought it back to the surface?
That Guy, with the brown hair and eyes?
Who's kindness took me by surprise,
Who's face won't leave my thoughts,
Who has left me a mess of sorts.
That Girl I can't be unseen,
I should've stopped for she was a Queen,
My thoughts they're riddled with that face,
With the way she blushed and walked away
Now, two strangers, who crossed their paths to date,
I could say it was my job to seal their fate,
But if they are to meet again,
Is it as lovers or as friends?
