I know you're upset,
When your answers are shorter,
When you give me that look,
Where you look like you've done wrong
But you won't tell me
Because you are frightened I will go
And walk away like I don't care.
But I do care, like a mother for her child
Like an owner for their pet and
I can't help but feel useless,
Like I can't do anything,
Like all the power I have means nothing.
There it is again, that look in your eyes,
Where the colour of your iris is dull
And the whites are red,
But I can tell something isn't quite right,
But you won't say, because you are scared.
Well so am I, because I don't know
And the unknown is a scary thing,
Full of shadows and dark and ugliness. So tell me, because a problem shared is one that's halved.
Tell me, it matters......vote and comment?
