Matter over Mind?

Mind over matter, look from your brain not your heart.
But I say hell to that phrase from the very start.
What matters is what means the mind must think,
What matters sets our souls to the brink
Of everything good and everything bad,
Everything wrong, angered and sad.
Well tell me this, and tell me right,
Are words enough to stop this fight?
Of emotional conquering and mental expression,
Of ways to share your true confession.
Strike me dead, buried and burnt,
Words are not enough for the feeling that churns,
Deep within oneself and out in the blue,
What matters is that I know and so do you.
So I won't ask for the words to be said,
No I swear that doesn't matter, we tread,
On this road together and deep down I know,
With matter over mind your love grows.
But so does mine and one day true,
No words will matter to sum up you.
Because words are what the mind believes,
But actions I feel are what the heart perceives.
And as if on que,
Let me show you why I love you.
