Rude Awakenings

So, there I was walking,
That hot summers day, when
A woman came screaming, and
What she had to say

Was 'A man! A man!
With eyes wide open, with
Hollows to see and a hole to
Breathe, he must've bin chokin'

Then I felt a sickening hold,
That wrapped round my chest,
That crept through my body, I'd never
Have guessed what follows this story

But I arrived to see the woman was true
And a man lay dead amongst the flowers,
So I stopped, and stared anew, as there
Was no thing I could, I felt sour

Because the air around him clouded with grime
And there were white wiggles in his mouth,
There was a smell so foul, so sick, so I'll
That I bent double and emptied it out

On the body itself, he must've turned in his grave
And cursed the young woman who,
So politely, left bile on his corpse and called,
And ambulance and her husband to

Collect her and the body, of which
Had no name or number,
And instead was buried, left without remembrance,
To return to his slumber.

Again this was dark but I tried to be funny. Honestly I'd laugh if I vomited, then hide away.
