There are chains that hold me,
Scold me, console me.
They're there to guide me,
Stabilize me.
But every now and then they snap,
And just like that.
I fall to pieces.
And my world ceases.
To exist.

I've found something stronger
than chains, it holds longer,
Breaks harder.
Falls farther.
Because of who they are.
Strength is found in mind,
Not matter, be kind,
Because chains are also links,
Life blinks,
Before love conquers.

There are chains to guide above,
Because you my love,
Bound my heart.
