Just a thought,
When your face lit up as our eyes caught.
Just a smile,
Just a glance,
As you thought once and gave me a chance.
Just a whisper,
Just a word,
And I beamed as my heart was heard.
Just a shimmer,
Just a glisten,
As you say the words and I just listen.
Just a beat,
Just a feeling,
When you seem a friend but was stealing.
Just a heart,
Just my mind,
When you say words shy and kind.
Just a chance,
Just this time,
Just a day to say I'm fine.
And I am, more than I've ever been,
Because finally, my truth has been seen.
