I stop running and i notice that the Queen has followed me. I turn around and she looks different. Very different. She's tired for one thing, but something doesn't seem right, but what is it?
"Queen? Are you alright?" I ask her innocently.
"It's time." She says almost zombie-like. "It's time for the war."
I know what she's talking about. Why would we want to start the war? I drop to my knees in exhaustion and wait until i have enough energy to get up. The Queen bends down in front of me and looks into my bloodshot eyes. She's very caring towards me, but not to other people. I really wonder why that is.
"Alex. We must finish what has already started. We must not go down in defeat. That's why we're here..... right now. To claim what is ours and what will stay ours." The Queen says royally.
I sigh of relief comes out without me controlling it and i fell like we have hope. And lots of it. The Queen helps me onto my feet and i know we're ready. I'm excited, but scared somewhat.
It's time. Today's the day...........
"I'm ready."
