Chapter 12 - Birthday

*2 weeks later*

When Fairy Tail got back from the GMG, the town celebrated their victory and gave them back their old guild hall.
They partied until they were all passed out.

Today, is like just any ordinary day but it is Monday today and also 1st of December which meant...

" Makarov! " Suki burst into the guild hall at 7.30 am.

Makarov came down from his office and met Suki who was panting slightly.

" What is it, child? " Makarov asked.

Makarov treats Suki like his child like the rest of the guild even though she doesn't join the guild.

" Friday...(Y/N)...Ruki...birthday...throwing...a party... " she said in between breaths.

" That means we should start planning their party! Mira! " Makarov shouted and called Mira.

" Yes, Master? "

" Start planning Ruki's and (Y/N)'s birthday party. Their birthday is on Friday so don't waste time! " Makarov ordered as Mira nodded.

She and Suki started planning quickly on what food they like, who to invite, what are their favourite colours and on and on...

*9.00 am*

" Master! We've finished planning the decorations and Suki has finished the guest list! " Mira shouted which caused some of the guild members to look at their way.

Only Suki, Mira and Makarov knows what is going on.

" Start getting the decorations and Suki give me the guest list! "

Guest list:
•Blue Pegasus
•Lamia Scale
•Mermaid Heel
• Quatro Cerberus
•Sabertooth

" Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Juvia, Erza, Wendy, Romeo, Lisanna, Elfman and Evergreen! Come to my office now! " Makarov's voice boomed through the guild hall.

" What do you need, Gramps? "

" Natsu, Lucy, send this letter to Sabertooth. Gray and Juvia will take this one toLamia scale. Erza and Lisanna will take Mermaid Heel. Wendy and Romeo, Blue Pegasus and lastly, Elfman and Evergreen to Quatro Cerberus. Hurry now! "

All of them ran to the train station to catch a train and not to disobey Master's orders.

" Just take it! " Natsu yelled, shoving the letter to Sting's hand and turned around.

Natsu was being provoked by Sting and it took Lucy forever to at least calm him down a bit.

" What is this? " Sting asked.

" Master just told us to give it to you and t sounded urgent to him so we just took it and came here. " Lucy explained.

" Now, we have to go. Bye! " she dragged the fuming Natsu out of the door and to the train station.

Sting opened the letter and read out loud what it said:

Invitation

You are cordially invited to Ruki & (Y/N)'s birthday party this Friday. Please bring the whole guild along with you.

Venue : Fairy Tail Guild Hall
Time : 12.00pm - 10.00pm
Day : Friday
Date : 5 December

" Heh. So, inviting us to a birthday party, huh? Should be fun. " Sting smirked.

At Blue Pegasus...

" Oh my god!!! How could I have forgotten that Friday is their birthday!!! " Hibiki was running around due to shock.

He forgot their birthday and was angry with himself. Ren and Eve were chasing him and trying to calm him down. Romeo and Wendy sweat dropped at him.

" Tenryuu no youkugeki! " Wendy shouted and aimed the attack to Hibiki who was now on the floor but still conscious.

" Gomenasai, Hibiki-san, but I couldn't take your rambling anymore. " Wedny gave him a sweet smile while the rest just backed away.

" Wendy! We have to go now! " Romeo shouted.

" Mm-hmm! Bye bye! " they waved and left Blue Pegasus.

Friday, 5th December

(Y/N) and Ruki were on their way to the guild because their older sister ordered them to.

They know it was their birthday but couldn't possibly believe that the guild would know or others beside Suki would know.

When they reached the guild, they pushed open the doors and was greeted by more than a thousand familiar faces.

" Happy birthday, Nakamura Twins! " they cheered as they stood rooted to the ground in surprise.

Suki came up behind them and slung an arm over their shoulders.

" Happy birthday, bakas! " she said cheerfully while the people in the whole room sweat dropped at what she had called them.

" A-Arigato...minna... " (Y/N) sniffled as a few tears rolled down her cheeks.

" It's been so long besides Suki who celebrated our birthday... " Ruki had a smile on his face as he wiped his tears.

" Alright now that's done...TIME TO PARTY! " Makarov shouted as everyone in the room cheered in agreement.

It was 10.30 pm. (Y/N) was asked to meet Hibiki at the balcony and when she got there. Hibiki appeared.

" Happy birthday, (Y/N). " he said and held out a small black box.

Inside was a beautiful silver necklace with royal blue gems and on the biggest gem, were the letters 'N' and '(whatever letter your name stars with)'.

Tears filled (Y/N)'s eyes as she held the present to her chest.

" A-Arigato, Hibiki... " she choked put as tears fell from her eyes.

Hibiki just smiled at her and hugged her.

" I promise...I'll try my best to protect you...and make you mine... " he mumbled before pulling away and gave a quick peck on her cheek and left.

(Y/N) raised a hand to her cheek where he pecked. Her heart was beating fast. Could she be-? No, she couldn't after what he did but...why was her heart beating fast?

'Am I...Am I falling for him?' She thought to herself before smiling to herself and wore the necklace around her neck.

'Arigato...Hibiki. For this.'
