Chapter 16 - Strike #2

" I see. So, what will you do now? " Hibiki asked (Y/N).

They were at the cafe near the beach. (Y/N) had just told him what had happened to Lucy. Natsu wouldn't leave her side until she wakes up.

" I don't know. But...I know that I'll have to fight him soon. " (Y/N) sipped her hot chocolate.

" Yo, Hibiki. " the two turned around to see Ren and Eve with their drinks.

" Out on a date with your girlfriend, I see. " Eve teases.

" Shut it, snow. " (Y/N) growled while Eve looked shocked at the nickname.

" Thanks for the nickname. " Eve muttered.

" Where are you all heading to? " Hibiki asked.

" Arcade and maybe try to pick up some girls. " Ren answered.

" Don't you have Sherry? " (Y/N) tilted her head in confusion.

" Y-Yeah...so what of it? " Ren stuttered.

" *Sigh* If any of your guild members got a note which says strike 2, contact me. " she said before getting up and left.

" Geez, how I hate that dude. " Ruki frowned.

" I warned him. " (Y/N) said as she sat beside Ruki under a beach umbrella.

" Ruki, (Y/N), I need to talk to you. " Suki said with a voice of authority.

They nodded and followed her to their beach house.

" I have a feeling one of us will get abducted as strike 3. " Suki said and they just nodded.

" You don't doubt me? " Suki questioned.

" Your feelings are always right! How can it backfire now? " (Y/N) smiled.

" I guess you're right. " Suki gave a small smile.

Then, (Y/N)'s phone buzzed. A text message from Hibiki.

Hibiki : (Y/N)! We need help! Ren and Eve were found in an alleyway all beaten up and bruised with blood and scars over their bodies! There is a note saying strike 2!

(Y/N) : I'm on my way!

" They targeted Ren and Eve. " she said and that was all it took for the three of them to run and Ruki picked up Wendy along the way.

" How are they? " Hibiki asked Wendy once she had finished healing some of their injuries.

" Stable but need to rest. Just like Lucy, although, we need Poryluscia-san to help with the healing a bit more. " Wendy frowned.

" Where are they? " Poryluscia appeared out of nowhere.

Wendy guided her to where Ren and Eve were laying motionless but breathing.

" Same case like Lucy but...Ren has a deep cut on his knee while Eve has a deep cut on his thigh. " Porylusica observed.

" This is not gonna end well at all. " Makarov mumbled as he was speaking to Bob.

" Dearie me, so this David guy is doing this to scare the siblings. How cruel! " Bob 'sobbed'.

" How's Natsu with Lucy? " Suki asked.

" He won't leave her side no matter what. Mira brings in food for him and tried to convince him to at least take a shower but he refuses. When Laxus showed up and told him to do it and he will watch over her, he zoomed out and in three minutes came back again. " Makarov replied.

" He cares for Lucy a lot. " Hibiki noted.

" Not care but love. " (Y/N) corrected.

" Tell everyone if anyone is going out, they must bring someone along with them who is strong. Someone like Erza or at least someone who is on par with Gray. " Ruki announced.

Now, two strikes has gone. What would the third strike be?

I'm finally back with a new chapter! Hehe, I don't know how long it took me to come up with this one so whatever! Hope you enjoyed this chapter! I've been stressing out with studying and homework as my English teacher gives my class no slack and keeps on giving us homework as our English exam is on Wednesday. Yup, four more exams to go and I'm free from the cruel world of studying. Since I can't watch any anime cause of exams, I've been reading fanfiction so I can live until I can watch anime. Anyways, I'll try to update soon. Sayonara, minna!
