Prompt: Y/N goes with Alby and Minho to inspect the dead Griever in the Maze... however, Y/N is stung instead of Alby.

"Y/N, do you have to go into the Maze?" Newt asks, concern laced through his voice.

You hold Newt's hands in yours, "I'll be fine. We're just going to go check out that dead Griever, okay?"

Newt chuckles, his eyes become playful. "When you say it like that, in that sweet voice of yours it sounds just a little creepy." Newt pulls you into an embrace, hugging you tightly. His voice grows stern again, "I don't want you to go."

"I'll be fine, I'm with Minho and Alby!" You wrap your arms around his neck, "Besides, the Griever is dead."

Newt looks unconvinced, "I still –can I at least come with you?"

You give him a stern look, "Only Runners are allowed outside of the Maze, Newt." You rub small circles on the back of his neck, "Just trust me, okay? I'm going to be fine."

Newt groans, rolls his head up to peer at the blue sky and then says, "Alright fine." He narrows his eyes at you, "But if you die, I'll kill you."

"Ha. Ha." You say sarcastically, "We'll be back before dinner." You kiss him on his lips, but only for a second. "See you."

After finally untangling yourself from Newt's loving grip, and his kisses, you manage to "escape" to the Maze with Minho and Alby at your sides. You make a few twists and turns, not bothering to take notes this time since your main goal is to get to the dead Griever.

Minho had already figured how much time it would take, and so you know that you'll be back at least an hour or two before the doors close. You weren't worrying about a thing because this task is going to be extremely simple. You'd find the Griever, find out everything you possibly can and then come straight back. In time for dinner; hopefully.

You three turn one last corner, "Here it is..." Minho breathes and you gasp. You've seen Grievers before, but never this close. And also, never this dead.

"Holy shuck..." You whisper as you come closer to it. "It is dead, right?"

"Mhm." Minho says, "I forgot how... scary they look."

"Now what?" Alby asks as he hangs back with Minho. But you block out their conversation with the interest of finding out more about this creature. You creep closer, inspecting every detail. The black skin is moulded with a cloudy-like texture. Metal spikes prolonged their way out of the dead Griever's skin and you can almost see the sickly looking poison drip off the tip of one of the points.

Click. Whir.

You stumble back and fall on your butt, "Minho..." Your heart races from fear, it's not alive; is it? That's impossible. Minho said it was dead... and it's just laying here...

"Did... did it just move?" Alby worriedly asks, casually stepping away from it.

"No... it couldn't have- Minho starts but is immediately cut off by more sounds that emit from the supposedly dead Griever, sending all three of you into panic mode.

Click, click. Whirrrrrr.

The creature heaves and huffs and spins out of control, slashing everything in sight. It slashes the sides of the Maze Walls, the concrete floor. You watch as the green ivy that once hung on the side Walls now crumple into a pile on the ground beside the Griever legs. You slide backwards on your butt, feet scraping against the floor as you push. You desperately want to get onto your feet and make a run for it but you're too surprised and afraid to make your legs do so.
