*backs into corner, waving slowly*

Hello! Happy fall break! I'm out of school and I'm back to writing. A lot of drama has happened with my family and friends, but now I'm back!

Enjoy.

Once they got home, Brendon was extremely upset and angry. Ryan was holding Brooke, who was slightly falling asleep in his arms. Her now short hair fell on her face and back, in shinny brown locks. Her eyes were dropping, sometimes closing. She yawned and gently pressed her face into Ryan's chest. Ryan was holding Brooke in the bridal style, while he gentle held her. He made short and soft steps, in attempt to not wake Brooke up. Brendon couldn't help but smile at the two. Ryan was slightly upset, but he compressed his feelings. He kept his face clear and smiled; even if it was fake.

Brendon pushed open the door to Brooke's room for Ryan to enter. Brooke was gently sat down on the bed on her back, as she was asleep by this point. Brendon smiled and pulled away, grabbing some clothing for Brooke to wear. It was a pair of black cotton pants, with a Panic! At The Disco white tank top. After removing Brooke's clothing, Brendon slipped on the pj's. Ryan took a seat on the bed, glancing at the girl that lay on the bed. She's getting bigger and better, than she was when she came here. Her bones were showing, ribs, arms, and even her legs. Her cheeks were was small, her jaw line showing. Now, she's a lot bigger, about the size of a normal four year old; which both men were thankful for. She seemed a lot happier, and full of life. Brendon find pride in how Brooke has changed, and Ryan is happy that both of them are happy.

Brendon sighed sat down on the other side of the bed. Ryan on the left, and Brendon on the right, with Brooke in between the two men. Brendon's back faced the open door, and his back propped up against the wooden frame. They both smiled at the child beside them. Brooke held onto one of Ryan's fingers, as she smiled softly in her sleep. Brendon chuckled and attempted to stand up. But Brooke quickly grabbing his shirt, fisting a small ball of his shirt with her last fist. "Please stay..." She muttered, through her sleepy state. Brendon smiled and sat back down. He sat down, laying his head down on the pillow, as Ryan also laid down. Wrapping his arms around both Brooke and Ryan, as covered all of them with a blanket. Brooke was now resting on his chest, while Ryan was laying on his shoulder.

Brendon couldn't help but feel guilty. "What if I was really around, would this have ever happened? Would I have been able to even protect her? What if I was around and that still happened? If I ever come face to face with this man, what would I do? Attack him; hurt him? Would I coward away from him? If that orphanage lady knew about him hurting her, why didn't she tell anyone? God, I'm a horrible father..." His mind kept racing back and forth. He sighed, the guilt eating him alive.
