Prologue

Marilyn was only eighteen when she was raped by a stranger in the street on the way home from school. The day she found out she was pregnant, her parents abandoned her and she was left with little money which meant she had no choice but to hide away in a run down motel by herself and walk the hour long walk to school every morning.
