 ---Max's Pov---

"She's over there." Alex said, pointing at a building just outside of the car. I stared at the building not believing what I was seeing.

"Is this a trick?" I asked Alex who stroke away a strand of hair behind her ear.

"No." she said and I turned my gaze toward the building again.

"After all these years she couldn't be with us because..." my voice was deep and I felt that I was about to cry so I stroke my face with my palm trying my best to not cry.

 "Yes." Alex said.

"If you hurry, maybe you can go and meet her." Alex said and I frowned.

"But, how did you manage to find her?" I asked Alex who smiled vaguely.

"It's a long story." she said and I nodded. I honestly didn't want to waste anymore time so I grabbed the handle of the car door and stepped out of the car. I couldn't believe it, but I was finally about to see my mom. My real mom. Not the mother who I grew up with- the mother who I thought hated me. So I walked over the asphalt and when I reached the building, I pushed open the door and walked in.

One day earlier

"What's going on? Where am I?" I said as I woke up. I was in some kind of car, with black leather seats and dark windows. A cold hand grabbed my arm and i tried to shook it off, which I managed to do.

"Jaime?" A soft voice asked and I emmidetly rose from the seat.

"Alex.... what?" the memories of the chasing of the woods returned and I flinched from her touch.

"The hell did you do to me?" I said trying to understand what was going on.

"Jaime, I know how this looks- but please understand, I only want your best." she said which made me jump closer to the car door.

"By kidnapping me?" then I remembered the cloth or what ever it was someone had put over my mouth.

"By... drugging me? Is that why I feel so weak?" I said accusing as Alex's eyes wandered on the car's ceiling.

"I did what I had to." she said in a husky voice.

"Oh god." I said as I covered my face with my palm.

"What is it you want from me?" I asked and Alex bit her lip.

"Justice." she said after a while.

"Justice of what?"

"Of... everything. Look, I can explain everything- but I need you to trust me, and not to run off like that again." Alex said and I swallowed.

I wasn't sure of what I should respond, so I clenched my hand into a fist and and placed the fist on my knee.

"How could I possibly trust you? You're working for Garret. He's the bad guy. You have to realise that." I said.

"I know... when Ryan left- I gained my courage and left just a few days later. What he was doing is just wrong." Alex said as her brown eyes met mine.

"So when I left, I did my best trying to find a way to help you." I frowned as she said that. If she had been working for Garret, shouldn't she've know about me and Jaime? The twins? Because that was what their whole crazy "Organization" was up to, wasn't it? The only thing I didn't understand was why.

"Jaime. I've managed to find your mother." I remained still and speechless. The last time she said that I had ran out of the car into the forest. It ended with her drugging me. But not untill now the thought hit me.
