"Arizona look at this place!" I said in awe as I spun in a circle trying to take everything in

"How did you find this place Jamie?" She too was in awe

"I didn't! Mer insisted to book the honeymoon so that it would be a surprise for the both of us. She really knows how to book 'em" I said amazed

It was just after midnight when we arrived at the edge of the beautiful Island of Hawaii. Meredith booked a hut right by the sea, and although it looked pretty basic from the outside, inside was completely astounding. Everything was so modern and decorative and the double doors at the end of our bedroom opened right out onto the beach. It was paradise. It was dark when we arrived so we still have yet to take in the full beauty of the Island.

"Don't you go chasing any plane crashes again, do you hear me Jamie Quinn?" Arizona warned playfully from behind me as we stood in the living room

"Don't you worry, you have my undivided attention for 12 whole days Mrs Quinn" I joked as I turned to face her, walking slowly towards her

"Mrs Quinn huh? What about you, Mrs Robbins?" She questioned

"I think we should just keep our names how they are" I smiled sweetly as I took her into a hug

"Sounds good to me" she mumbled happily into my shoulder

"And if we have kids, we'll just give them double barrel names" I said, compromising

I felt Arizona stiffen in my arms and a feeling of dread washed over me, had I just ruined our honeymoon before it even began?

"But if you don't want kids that's cool too, but our dog and 5 cats will have double barrel names" I said jokingly, trying to rectify the situation before I could upset her

"No, no sorry. I didn't mean to freeze. It's just, I've never heard you talk about wanting kids before. Other than that time you thought I was sedated in hospital after my stabbing, but that doesn't count because I shouldn't have pretended to be sleeping. Of course I want kids with you Jamie, I've wanted another child for years now." she said sincerely as we sat down on the sofa and snuggled close together

"You really mean that?" I asked, slightly surprised

"Of course I do, you know I'd do anything to make you happy Jamie. I've missed out on so much of Sofia growing up, I'd give anything for a second shot at that." she smiled lovingly up at me

I leaned down to her smiling lips and mumbled a "Thank you" against them before pressing my lips gently against hers, feeling her smile into the kiss.

"Would you carry the baby?" she asked sheepishly when I finally pulled away

"What?" I asked, unsure of what she meant

"When Callie and I tried to have a second child, we decided I'd carry it this time. I was still going through a rough patch after the plane crash and the stress of Callie constantly working just hit me hard and I lost the baby. I don't think I'll ever be ready to go through something like that again and I know it's selfish of me to ask but-" Arizona confessed and I saw the tears glisten in her eyes at the memory and before she could inflict the past on herself any further, I leaned in once more and placed a gentle kiss upon her lips

"I would be honored to carry our child" I smiled as I gently brushed a loose strand of hair off Arizona's face

She beamed up at me as her smile reached either side of her cheeks.

"Whoever we're picking to donate sperm, he's gotta be sporty" I started

"And smart" she added

"And he can't live with his mom" I smirked down at her jokingly

"Jamie we don't know where they live" she let a laugh escape her lips

"Well watch me find out" I winked as I held her closer to me, protectively

"I love you" she whispered at my ear

"I love you too" I replied "C'mon we should get some sleep, Meredith said she has activities booked for us for the next few days" I laughed as I stood up from the sofa and took Arizona's hand in mine

We walked hand in hand into the bedroom and I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth. When I walked out of the bathroom I almost dropped to the floor at the sight in front of me. Arizona stood with her back to me, dressed only in her black lace underwear. She looked out the back doors of our bedroom and a slight yawn escaped her lips. She turned back to face me and saw me standing frozen in the doorway of the bathroom.

"Jamie are you ok?" she asked, concern starting to flood her flawless features

I felt like a school girl all over again. This certainly wasn't the first time I had ever seen Arizona in her underwear, but there was something so striking about her tonight. Maybe it's because I finally get to call her my wife, I get to make love to her as my wife and only I can call her that. I felt speechless and almost paralyzed as I tried to form a sentence. I didn't want to worry her, but I just couldn't find the perfect compliments I so desperately needed to shower her in. Because there are no words to describe how I feel in this moment.

"You're so beautiful" I barely whispered

The feelings of concern soon left her face and was replaced by the most adorable blush that caressed her cheeks. She looked at the ground beneath her, she too now lost for words. I slowly made my way towards her and lifted her face up to meet mine.

"You are the most beautiful woman I have ever met and I'm trying to get my head around how lucky I am to have found you" I said softly, looking deep into her eyes

"Jamie Quinn I couldn't imagine my life without you and the beauty and joy that you fill my days with" she spoke lovingly

I gently picked her up off the floor and she wrapped herself around me as I brought her to the bed and placed her softly against the covers. I hovered over her for a moment, taking in every inch of her being. Her hair flowed effortlessly against the sheets as her eyes sparkled and danced against the lights from the ceiling. Her arms wrapped gently, yet protectively around my neck and I knew then that I had found my soulmate, the one and only person I ever truly needed in my life.

"Oh, we're not sleeping tonight" I husked hungrily against her ear and felt a shiver run down her spine
