"10 blade" I said politely as I held out my hand for the scalpel

"Alright, we've got a 3 year old, Freddie Jones with a deformed left ventricle, it's not pumping the blood that he needs and we need to extend and build it up to the size that it needs to be" I informed the interns that were shadowing me

As I began explaining the steps of the surgery, two of the interns came running in looking embarrassed and disheveled. I knew exactly what they had been up to.

"So glad you could join us doctors. Interns, not only are you here to become surgeons you're also here to acquire skills and learn valuable life lessons. Life lesson number one! Do NOT sleep with other interns." I began to embarrass the two, sarcastically

"But Dr Quinn, didn't you marry your superior?" One of the interns questioned

"Exactly Dr?!" I asked, unsure of the bold young man's name

"Marsden" he replied timidly

"Exactly Dr Marsden, I slept with her and knew I was going to marry her. So unless you want to marry the doctor beside you, do not sleep with them! Believe me Doctors, you need to avoid as much mess in your lives as possible" I said sternly, but really I was just yanking their chain

"Some good advice you're dishing out there Dr Quinn" I heard her sweet voice coming from the door

"Good morning Dr Robbins" I smirked through my mask

"Please don't scare away our interns Jamie" she returned a playful smirk as she placed the surgical mask over her face, her eyes glittering under the lights

"That's Dr Quinn to you lady" I joked as she stood on the other side of the table

"Ohhh" a symphony of joking interns began to chime in and rile us up

"Calm down guys, the hospital doesn't permit girl on girl UFC in the OR" I returned sarcastically

"But if you wait until lunch-" Arizona added

"Well that's just a frickin' free for all brawl" I laughed

The interns looked at each other in amusement as Arizona and I continued with the surgery. Within 5 hours we had repaired as much of the little boy's ventricle as we could and he was soon recovering in ICU.

"Good job in there" I felt familiar arms around me as I stood by the nurses station

"Thanks babe. Couldn't have done it without you" I turned in her arms to meet her with a kiss

"I'm done for the day. Will I see you later?" Arizona asked as she let me go

"Uh, I'm working pretty late so if you're tired don't wait up. I'll just see you in the morning" I kissed her forehead

"Love you" she whispered against my ear

"Love you too" I smiled down at her

I watched her as she walked away and sighed happily to myself. It had been a month since the honeymoon and I was still on cloud nine in love with that woman.

"Dr Quinn?" I heard Dr Webber's voice from down the hall, waking me from my thoughts

"Yes Dr Webber?" I asked, turning to face him

"Dr Quinn, have you met our new head of Neuro?" he asked excitedly as a small figure emerged from behind him and my heart dropped

"Dr Quinn this is-" Webber began

"Amelia?" I breathed, almost speechless

"Hi Jamie" she said shyly

"Oh great! You two know each other" Dr Webber announced
