What they're like as new parents~

Sherlock: Sherlock did not plan on having children at all. In fact he despised them. You already had a job of taking care of Sherlock as he was much like a baby. He only wanted to be the spawn of attention and couldn't get that out of his brilliant yet thick noggin. When you found out you were pregnant he was a stubborn asshole until the birth. When he finally held his baby in his arms his attitude completely changed, when the baby wasn't in his arms or with him he was reading up on websites and parenting books.

Mycroft: like his brother he didn't much care for children, but he actually opened up to the idea of it since he had such a soft spot for you. It was practically impossible to say no to you, he could say it of course but would eventually sheepishly go back on his word. Mycroft was very enamoured with the baby, he enjoyed being with them and you would often find the baby sleeping on his chest while he dozed off in a rocking chair.

John: John was a very natural father. He took to the baby like cream in coffee. You didn't have to do much, he even volunteered to change the stinky diapers or get the early morning wake up calls. He thought you did enough carrying the baby for 9 months and deserved a break. You enjoyed watching john talk to the baby about what he would do with them when they were older while he cooked dinner with a frilly trimmed apron on.

Lestrade: Lestrade was busy a lot during the first few months after the baby was born. He got several calls and such and of course had to respond to them but when he was home instead of complaining of a hard day and going to bed he made sure he spent time with you and the baby. It was off to a rocky start but things eventually smoothed out once Greg put priorities first he became a much better father.

Jim: Jim never wanted any children. He was such a strange man yet you loved him and wanted to share something special with him but he still refused and you eventually gave into his stubbornness. Though it was a subtle disagreement it lasted 3 and a half years.

Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of updating...it's been so long I know! School I very much dislike but know the struggle will only continue. I hope everyone is doing good and I wish everyone a merry Christmas, or anything else you celebrate. Remember I love you all.
